Hatchery construction update

I’ve searched for construction updates on line. It seems all updates stopped in 2024.  Anyone have a link or update on this slowest of all projects?  Thanks in advance.

We were down there last week, from mid-week thru the weekend.  The whole place is in shambles and nobody appeared to be working at all.  

Whoever is in charge of that project should be ashamed of themselves. 🙄

It looks like they hired the same crew that Charlie Reading did.

Charlie’s been working on his place for decades, hope that doesn’t end up the case in the park. 
I just keep thinking it’ll be 2-3 more years before stocking their own trout best case scenario.

I think, at this point, that if you believe that one day soon they'll all of a sudden kick it into gear and get serious about completing the project....... you are living in a dream world.

I believe we've been waiting for 2 decades or so right?

This current project isn't even supposed to  be complete until Jan. '25. Most of the visible work will take place in the final phases, so from Dec on and give it a 90 day extension, we shouldn't expect much until about April, '26. 

On the upside the stocked trout taste just as bad no matter where they come from. Enjoy it while you can.

I've never seen an MDC project that is ever done on time.  Shell Osage is a perfect example.  Wonder if it will ever get finished.

Nah, and there will be a flood, tornado, or some other "act of God" that they will blame it on.

If you account for the first failed hatchery upgrade....... definitely yes.
