basska Posted Friday at 04:21 PM Posted Friday at 04:21 PM Well, here we go again.... Nearly 1,000 fish poached in a "small stream" in Camden County. Seems to be mainly Suckers, but 14 Smallmouth were harvested. 3 were cited. Wonder what the penalties look like? What "illegal method" were they using? What "small stream" in Camden County could this be? The Little Niangua?

fishinwrench Posted Friday at 07:13 PM Posted Friday at 07:13 PM I suspect some significant fish mis-identification there. 🙄 I also predict that those charged will not show up for court......and will never be seen again. snagged in outlet 3 1
WestCentralFisher Posted Friday at 08:26 PM Posted Friday at 08:26 PM This is the exact time of year I worry about. Particularly on the stream that I very much fear is the one in question. They are just so concentrated in a few pretty obvious places, and it's so easy for one person to cause so much damage.

You ever seen a Redear there? And what are the odds that there were no Spotted Bass in the mix ? snagged in outlet 3 1
Quillback Posted Friday at 09:41 PM Posted Friday at 09:41 PM Were they going to use those fish for bait? Some real dinks on the ground there.

My guess is that they are Asian immigrants..... They'll eat minnows, or make fish head soup. Possibly illegal, that's why I question whether they'll even show up for court. snagged in outlet 3 1
