I feel for you. The sad part will be the insurance companies cheapskate responses to people's troubles.  I won't begin a tirade, but in the old days, I filed and tried more than one case in these circumstances.

That’s a tough situation even for local companies.   Stay local, check google reviews and Missouri Casenet.   You might be surprised how many companies are in litigation or have judgements against them.   Good establishments won’t require material payment until it’s delivered.

Back in '22 we had a bad hail. A company inspected the guy across the street's roof and showed him a picture of a hole in his roof. It was bogus.

I’ve had one estimate on the roof ($20,700.00) but none on the other damage yet.  Roofers are knocking on the door all day long.  I’m not going with any fly by night company.
