Ham Posted August 2, 2017 Share Posted August 2, 2017 From this Spring. Richard had recovered from his (first) stroke and was in great spirits. WE had a Great trip. Richard said that despite his medical problems the past 12 months had possibly been the best of his life. He had re-built his relationships with his children and was on his way to reconciliation with his wife. He was Disciplined and meticulous with his boat maintainence which I believe came from his years as a private pilot. He built some of his planes and refurbished others to use or resale. His boats were always kept clean and ready to go. There was a place for everything and everything was kept in its place. I could never do that, but I appreciated that he could. humble guy too. He was a very accomplished angler, but you had to drag it out of him to find out about it. Soft spoken and slow to anger, but I imagine he was a handful of you got him truly angry.
