So Monday while bass fishing i hooked my first muskie, maybe 30 inches, and it cut my line at the bank.   Lost my favorite popper.   Then the very next morning i hooked my second ever, and my first to land.  43"   Was a blast!  Was scared the whole time it would cut my 15lb fluro leader but it worked out.

I just knew when you said you'd caught your second that it was gonna have your favorite popper attached.. :-)

I can't dance like I used to.

Still too warm to be fishing for muskies.... A muskie should only be kept out of the water for as long as you can hold your breath.  Any longer on these warm days will kill the muskie.  It may swim away, but could die hours or days later.

How can something so onery and mean be as delicate as tissue paper?

If only the Crappie knew what pussies they were.

They are not native to this area and the water temps here are much higher than their home waters. That's why they're so fragile this time of year.
