We had tournament Sunday. Same conditions 6 fish tournament. I boated 4 keepers with that Ned. 20-25ft deep. Could not feel the bite either. Line would just slowly move and feel heavy. We had just shy of 11 pounds. Got beat by 10lbs. Ha. Good job guys. Thanks for sharing.
I sent Baits to my guy but never got confirmation from the recipient. Hopefully he got them. I enjoy doing Fantasy fishing. Just another avenue for members to bond. Thanks for doing it.
Jerkbaits, jig, crankbait, swimbait or Grub in a pro blue or smoke color with 1/4 jig, Arig, spoon, drop shot and shakey head or Ned. Fish what’s in front of you with the proper bait and don’t be scared to try shallow around brush.
Love reading stuff like that. Great read. Nice job Donna and Champ. I went out Friday for a few hours and I had to work for every bite. The 3 that I caught were quality at least. 2 lm and a fat Ky that probably weighed 7lbs total. Using a jig in brush piles shallow caught the LM and Redbug Rock Crawler caught the Ky. I fished Prairie Creek area.
My buddy sells boats in Lowell, Ar. He has a guy that acid washes the pontoons to get all that build up off of it. They look great after they are done. If you need their number shoot me a pm.
Has something to do with IP address. You can go online and google how to open ports up on your modem. That will allow you to go to whatever site you want. It’s not easy but if you know someone with some computer knowledge it should be easy for them.
I can reach it but I would have to stand up in the boat more than likely. I want to install fan as well. My next project. Those box fans are cheap and I have a plug in the ceiling already for my garage door opener.
Yep Royal. I bought some kit that had a bunch of pieces for that board. Only a few are usable for fishing stuff. I’ve got right around $50 invested so far. Those long ones I used are sold separately at almost a dollar after taxes. Looks like I’m gonna have at least another $20-30 more invested in it. I actually think this is going to save me money in the long run. Instead of just grabbing something at the tackle store because I’m not sure I have it or not I can check that board out first. It will be displayed instead of stuffed somewhere out of sight.
They stroll crankbaits to get maximum depth too. My thought on the A-rig. I only fish it when I’m forced to. By being forced I mean that if I’m in a tournament this time of year that allows them and the conditions are right I’m gonna get my butt kicked if I don’t throw it. It takes a lot out of you to throw it all day and someone in your boat needs to be throwing one at all times. I wish they weren’t allowed but my desire to fish outweighs my dislike for the rig. They do catch fish. Usually keeper fish.
We have an annual get together. It’s a pot luck gathering. Bring a partner, keep your biggest bass and weigh it in. If you have the biggest one you own bragging rights for a year. Good times and great eats.
You gotta love the jerkbait to fish it. It’s either love or hate with that thing. I personally love to fish them. Last year didn’t seem to be a good year to throw it. This year is already better for me.
Slow at work so I had a few hour window to sneak the boat out and be back before wife got home.😜 Put in at Prairie Creek around 11:15 and off the water at 2:00. CAught 4 fish in total. 3 on a jerkbait,1 on a crankbait and got absolutely smoked by something fairly good in size on an A-rig. Only on for a couple seconds then came unbuttoned. Had fun. Happy Holidays folks.
