  1. Agreed the boat traffic now sucks at Tablerock but, not even close to LOZ.
  2. The perils of the S barF lake. I caught a chunk there once and they wanted to keep it and I quit the scouts shortly after.
  3. Awesome
  4. 1984 3rd year in a row winning the Des Peres lions Club fishing Derby. I retired out of that circuit following this win 😜
  5. Nice one Pete!!! I’d go with 20 looks like a nice one too me
  6. Legit 20’s are rare and that’s why I love them. I am the same way...... I happened into some Big White Bass and Hybrids not too long ago and it was one after another for awhile every casts and I started counting. These fish were fighting very very hard and I kept saying out loud “ I am not going anywhere until this ends”....... about 45 mins later after several Hybrids from about 4 to 10lbs and several huge White bass last count was 26, I quit and went home. As usual with hybrids, thinking I could just go back the next day and crush them, they were gone.... not even a bite. You would have to be in great physical shape to catch many of these fish in a strong current where I was fishing. I used to have a lake at my sisters farm we called bass lake up in Elsberry or technically Anada and you could literally catch as many 4 lb bass out of as you could ever want with a few 5’s mixed in but, I would actually feel guilty after a while. I just don’t like catching tons of fish, I just want one exceedingly Large one and I’m good for the day.... people who have fished with me have seen this from me, I will quit after I catch the one I was after lol
  7. Yep same here and I don’t like fishing for bait either but, each to their own lol
  8. Todd??? Hahaha you outing people here ??? Are there no HIPPA laws that apply here?? One thing I do know is I fish where most of you guys couldn’t catch a cold in the worst water conditions imaginable and most will laugh at the fact that I’m fishing where I fish and nobody goes there because of its perception and that’s how I like it.
  9. Wait a minute there!!! You mean you don’t carry a clicker to keep count??? What the hell kinda fisherman are you?? Haha
  10. Agreed!!
  11. There is more than one strain of Covid Al. One gives you a very mild case if anything at all. Another which seems to be a little more rare now is a killer. My family has been exposed to it and none of us were even sick really. Hell my wife has had people in hospice who get Covid while there to die and recover from the Covid before they succumb to the illness that put them there. That has happened 4 times now since August. It is a weird virus that has given a Golden ticket to government officials to do anything they want to you and your families in the name of saving people from it. Also there is no good science on this as of yet so don’t even pretend to convince any of these fisherman that there are some sort of solid facts on this virus because there isn’t.
  12. I call them the “oil trout” strain.... all the oil and pathogens running into those lake from the streets give them their monicker lol I caught so many at Forest Park and Walker lake in Kirkwood it became a little boring and I caught a nice with no tail.
  13. Catch as many BIG fish every time I go is my goal. Catch as many 20+ inch bass as I can other than that not much else.
  14. No doubt the dude can punch and when he was with Cus D’ Amato he was at his best but, when he fought Holyfield he got schooled and that was the only fighter he ever fought of any significance whatsoever. Buster Douglass beat his posterior silly as well. Tyson was only good in his era because there were no other heavyweights that were worth a darn..... hell Holyfield put on weight just to move up and his boxing skills were better obviously.
  15. Tyson was a paper champ who had to bite the ear of anyone who was good that fought him and anyone that was motivated beat his posterior down. They are both old so I would so possibly weakest fight in a long time.
  16. Agreed with everything Wrench said but, these Temperates are going from one river to another. Thru my journeys in chasing these goofy SOB’s the water temps I find them to be most active is 54 to 57 but, as Wrench said you can catch’em all year round. I don’t have the patience to do it other than that zone because they are too frustrating and go chase easy fish like Smallies and Largemouth 🙂
  17. Well that sucks!!! Can there be any place that doesn’t get blown up by tournaments??? ~~ A you dick measuring contest guys are very bored with just fishing. Also I thought bass season for meat hunters was closed from 03/01 to 06/01???
  18. Can jam on the sand bar with fishing..... I’m in!!!!!
  19. I have weighed a few but, never have I caught a 22 holy F!!! I have weighed 20’s that were 3++. River run White bass fight like they are bionic. Here is a 20 inch White that weighed 3.4 I also understand why you feel the mutts are a detriment to the true Whites, over the past decade I have seen the population change to a majority of Hybrids versus Whites which seemed weird but, it’s true for the river I’m fishing that does feed the Mississippi
  20. Yes and I will take some pics of the baby Hybrids I’m catching as they are very obvious they are hybrids. I am catching some very nice Whites as well some 3.5 to 4lbers
  21. Yes I would subscribe based on so many people hating him and his views. I would never join the crowd on anything.
  22. I have been trying to figure that one out for a while now. I catch baby hybrids and 10 Lbers, they have to be reproducing in the river
  23. Oh I don’t know Pete look at this one lol
  24. Thanks buddy they are quickly becoming my favorite fish to persue
