After almost 2 1/2 years of ho humming around and trying jew down guys on their used rigs, I have found the jet for me. I am going to have a custom build by a company out of PA. I am going with their Outboard Jet model.17 foot with a 90/65 Mercury Optimax,one of the few new ones left in the united states, it comes with their custom trailer and I am ugrading to the 1/2" UHMW bottom to save me from the Ozarks rocks. I know a lot of people on here will think oh dung another dude with a jet on our rivers and I really don't care.....at least I won't be gigging bass like a ton of hoosiers do on our rivers and I will mostly be using it in the winter and fall....... as well as Taney. http://www.rockproofboats.com/objet.html#

Um Mike I just drove over the bridge on the Big on HWY 67 at Cherokee landing and it was out of it's banks.....we had a ton of sleet and ice late last week and over an inch and a half of rain last night......and I'm tickled pink......I hope it keeps raining and snowing but we are out of the extreme drought conditions now down here for now.

the problems I have experienced with this Phil is the surface that you are going to adhear any product to if it isn't brand new, needs to be prepared very well. Primers are a must with any rubber compounds that you may use and for any eva foam the surface has to extremely clean before you attempt an application. I agree with MOsmallies the Seadek product is very cool but, you must be very diligent in preparing you surface before application otherwise, I don't care what product your using will not adhear correctly. Rhino liner has to much weight for me and the finshed product when dry is not tacky enough but, that stuff is killer in a truck bed. I have used Line-x, Scorpion, and Rhino and they all have their advantages and are all good product IF the person doing the insallation does their job correctly....ie preparing the surface before application. IMO Scorpion would be the best for Marine applications because 1) it is the lightest of the three materials by far although Seadek is the lightest...which to me would be important in a boat for obvious reasons. 2) Scorpion's finished product is much more tacky and soft which gives you way more traction IMO. all three would be a good choice if done properly and even the Seadek IMO is very good stuff . Man I love Missouri, back to the days when I lived on campus and hung out with doug smith one night.....watching him ride around in his Datsun 280z with a moon roof and a racoon tail tied to his antena, not sure where he got it coming from the ghetto of Detroit but who cares.The top of his head would stick out of his His roof, he would smile and wave....they were great times. Well OTF olde Mizzou couldn't even keep it close on their own court in the first half....very weak. I don't care who you think you are if you think you are a tourney team then you should be able to keep it close with any team on your home court.............I hope they prove me wrong in the second half, I really do. if Phil Pressey is a NBA first rounder then that should tell you how far the NBA skill level has dropped for pure basketball skills. come on Mizzou show us something in the second half...........it's your home court...........no more excuses oh, and SLU on there home court is just destroying VCU

OTF, I love Mizzou but, I call them like I see them.....and Mizzou beat VCU and Illinois, thats it.....they haven't won a legit game on the road in their own confrence.....that sucks and they are huge under achievers....to me that is garbage. If SLU beats VCU tonight when VCU is playing good as opposed to Mizzou beating them early when nobody is playing good and SLU beat Butler and Texas A&M who beat the lowly tigers....well to me that says SLU is better coached and a better TEAM.SLU's losses to Rhode Island and Washington are bad but, SLU actually has a point gaurd who knows his role and isn't a stupid clown who can't recognize to protect the ball at the end of the game when you are trying to score to win the game. Mizzou is a huge under achiever and IMO does not deserve a tourney bid as of right now. If they win the SEC tourney then they should go or if they can beat Florida, otherwise it's NIT for them. Haith has no control of his team, mostly Pressey.....out of control. The SEC this year sucks royally for basketball and Missouri can only beat one half assed team on the road????? thats garbage with their talent, so for me it's on the coach, you can't control these loosers and you don't deserve a bid. That beeing said I will not watch Missouri, they couldn't beat a garbage Arkansas team, LSU or Texas A&M.....you suck. SLU on the other hand is the opposite of Mizzou, team play all the way, with gaurds that actually run the offense and wow, play defense???? who would have thunk it. A group of players that respects their coach and it shows on the floor. Screw the RPI and the media they don't know dung unless it's from North Carolina or ESPN told them so.
