  1. Yes it does.
  2. The USACE Little Rock app is showing disabled for me as well. Looks like they discontinued it. Have to navigate directly to actual web page to see past flows. https://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil/pages/data/tabular/htm/tabrock.htm
  3. Use the CFSWater app from the Apple app store or Google Play. It's better than the SWPA app.
  4. Yep, Lilley's Landing/Marina will have everything you need. If they are running a lot of water the heavier jigs and jerkbaits are good. If no water generation suspending a small 1/25 to 1/50th jig under an indicator can work. Pink Power Worm under an indicator is very effective if nothing else is working (can not use it in the trophy area). Make sure you are familiar with the regulations, there are bait restrictions and fish restrictions depending on where you are on the lake. Good Luck!
  5. December - February depending how long they have been in the lake. Although I've seen eggs in female trout later than February; must be due to the unique waters of Taneycomo. https://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/field-guide/rainbow-trout#:~:text=Wild trout in Ozark springs,it hard with her tail.
  6. Last month a couple agents were checking every boat up by the dam. I don't recall their names; maybe it was them. I told them I'm glad to see you guys out here! How do I contact them if I see something nefarious going on? Thanks! Tom Ciolino
  7. A small cheap magnetic dish works great to dry flys without loosing them.
  8. Just wondering who is doing "the discussions"? Any reference from the MDC they may change the rules? I couldn't find any notice on the MDC site for Wildlife Code-Proposed Regulation Change, nor in the Missouri Register. Thanks!
  9. "Empire District proposes to replace the existing 4-foot high Obermeyer gates with new 5.15-foot-high Obermeyer gates. As proposed, the water surface elevation of Lake Taneycomo would be raised from 701.35 to 702.5 feet NGVD29 when the 5.15-foot gates are fully raised." I read this is being done to address the sediment buildup problems in the lower lake. Attached is the short story. Tom Ciolino Docket P-2221-041.pdf
  10. My son and I just got back from a week at your place. One of the best trips yet! Fishing was fantastic, the bite was on, and catching them on cicadas was an awesome experience. I finally entered the 20 inch club. Over 2 hours this morning , we caught twenty+ fish in the upper 1/2 mile below the dam; they were all caught on an orange egg fly.; they weren't in the mood for scuds. I have a reservation for November, but I'll have to find a way to get back before the cicada bite turns off! Interestingly, Conservation Agents were up there inspecting every boat; checking licenses. 11. Thank you! Good to know that. I'm going to try that when I'm down there in a couple weeks. Looks like I need to tie up some stimulators and hoppers!
  12. Just wondering how you know that. Thanks, Tom Ciolino
  13. Awesome to hear this since I'll down at your place in 2 weeks. I'm tying up some cicadas. What cicada fly were you using? Thank you!
  14. Thank you! One of my other hobbies is designing and building rockets; so I get a little OCD when it comes to diagrams and spec sheets. 😊
  15. Absolutely. I use a medium size Oros indicator and a SSG size lead weight just below the indicator which is set at a depth to keep the fly about 6-10 inches off the bottom. I use weighted scuds. If water is moving fast put weight about 1 to 1.5 feet above fly, indicator set to allow weight to drag bottom ; may need heavier weight ~ 1/8th ounce if not ticking on the bottom. 2 pound line for bright sun or slow water, 4 pound is ok for fast water or cloudy weather. I'd recommend having some orange, yellow, or fl. pink egg flys on hand as well. If fishing from a boat in moving water see image below for the drift rig I use. Adjust weight to feel the sinker ticking the bottom every 1-2 seconds, but not getting snagged.
  16. Making memories; the best kind of fishing.
  17. Question about boats for the White River and Norfork. I have never fished the White River, but have fished Taneycomo numerous times renting a G3 Gator boat from Lilley’s. I’m looking into buying a G3 Gator or Tracker Grizzly. But I want a boat that will also be able to fish the White River and Norfork. So, my questions are: what are the water conditions/depth on the White River and Norfork with no generation? Will these types of boats be able to navigate on the White River/Norfork with no generation? Or would I be better off getting a Shawnee (L61)? Also, I’m considering a jet motor but have read about difficulty controlling the boat at a low or neutral power making docking, especially in fast high water, difficult. What are your experiences? Thank you, Tom Ciolino
  18. This town is definitely fired up for our Tigers! My son is a Mizzou freshman. We just got back from 5 days on Taneycomo. We had a very successful weekend! MIZ! Tom Ciolino, Columbia, MO
  19. Phil, I'm staying at your place this week. Bought some Peppy scuds but would like to tie some back home. Thank you! Tom Ciolino
  20. What type and color dubbing do you use to tie the peppy scud? Thank You Tom Ciolino
  21. Wow. Very cool to see this. Thanks for sharing. Tom Ciolino
  22. Yes, I have that recipe, but it's not Keeney's sculpin. Thank you, Tom
  23. Anyone have a recipe to tie Keeney's Taneycomo Sculpin with the lead dumbbell eyes? Thank you Tom Ciolino
  24. WOW that's awesome!!! So did you keep the fish?
  25. Awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on some of the new 1/32 ounce jigs I'm when down at your place in November. Time to relabel my jig boxes. 😀 Tom Ciolino
