Anyone have a cure for a mole that got into my raised garden? I put hardware cloth down before filling with the growing mixture but it made it past it. Went rigth down my onion row. I wonder if moth balls in it's run would harm the plants.

Yesterday's weather was about as bad as the weather we had at Cape Fair a couple of years ago.

Last year I spent $75 on materials ( cotton burr compost, rice hulls & peat moss). Went to Price Cutter in June to get the prices of the product I planted. Cherry & regular tomatoes, green beans, jal. & bell peppers, lettuce, spinach,sugar snap peas, green onions &cuks. I kept track of every picking & the total value the stuff came to $270.44. Good return on investment plus, very little weeding & really good food. A raised garden is the way to go.

This must have been a bad deer season for such things. Sat. my best and last of seven hunting & fishing friends told me he has stage 4 cancer of the liver. He has known since Aug. didn't tell anyone until after the hunt. Sad.

Good luck! I love labs - have owned four. The first 16 months seem to be worst time for chewing but the one I have now still thinks anything in the garden should be gathered. He is 8 years old. Siding on the house, air conditioner lines, Green Egg cooker handle, patio cover posts & several garden hoses have met his teeth.
