I have a 2004 Yamaha 25 hp. four stroke motor that starts & run great. If I run it wide open for about 200 yards it starves out. I pump up the bulb & it runs fine another 200 yards. Always starts up after the stall. It will run all day at half open or less. Anyone have any ideas?

Climate change was real during the ice age also. -
The grandson & I fished Bull Creek one day last week. Went all the way up as far as the boat would float. We saw no nests on the gravel up there. We caught many gills but not many big ones. We were using fly rods w/poppers. Also caught a few bass. Might have done better with worms in deeper water.

What is the lowest part of the James that you can pull out a set up camp? There is a pretty gravel bar at the upper end of McCords Bend but I did know if that was ok. Thanks

Spent the last two days at Taney with the grandson. Only saw six ducks all day on Thursday & perhaps twelve today (Fri.)Dylan had a great time learning to set the decoys, blowing his new Mallard Tone calls & seeing the eagles.Do not know where the ducks have gone(saw more at the start of the season). Hunted above & below Rockaway. Did have a mallard drake buzz the decoys this A.M. but we both missed. May need to change lakes.

Ducky - I am taking my grandson to Taney to hunt thur. & Fri. I have been hunting up the lake around Bull Creek but not having too much luck. Do you think it is better down toward the dam?

On Friday I guarded the ducks on Taney. None were molested or hurt by me. Had three Wood ducks swim into the decoys & stayed all morning. Too pretty to shoot. Too slow on a pair of Mallard hens & four Gadwalls. I did not see all of the geese or other ducks moving. I was hunting in the Boy's Camp Cove - think I will try down the lake next time.
