Most fish can be made pretty tasty or just plain nasty depending on who is cooking and how they do it. Plus everyone has their preferences. Some are just dang hard to make "good" others are hard to make "bad" but even crappie bluegill and walleye can be ruined. And while I might like a blackened grilled catfish fillet my wife absolutely hates catfish. Mostly because she had some bad ones as a kid and no amount of properly prepared catfish will change her mind. Although she has eaten a few cut up and fried with crappie and never knew.

Hunger and atmosphere can make about any fish delicious even trout and possibly spoonbill. I like eating the things I like to catch so Walleye crappie and whites or hybrids. And I do live me some flathead especially the belly meat. Goggle Eye are delicious but harder for me to come by anymore.

Not having followed the story much except right after it happened I am actually surprised that prosecutor went ahead with criminal charges. No doubt the actions of both individuals warrant it and wouldn't be surprised if it gets pleaded down to lesser charges. You know that armored and prop people throughout the industry have made some changes to the way they do things. Most should have been in place already. Like absolutely no zero none live ammo on a movie set. It was all very tragic, but negligence and poor control plus violation of some MAJOR gun safety rules happened came together.

Can the dealer go in and reprogram the computer to factory specs.

If I had your address and email (and wasn't lazy) you would have to take a bag to the mailbox to get all the propaganda, test kits and free samples.

That is both a heartbreaking and heart warming story at the same time. I am glad you were able to use his bow and continue a sport he loved.

Whatever is in the waters is to some degree going to be in the Aquatic life chain. As noted some places are better or worse than others. I still wouldn't drink unfiltered water from wild sources but I am not gonna lose a moment sleep over fish fillets.

Top windy to go fish this morning. Mrds and habit won't let me sleep late so decided to make a real breakfast. Had some sausage gravy left from B&G supper a few night ago so . . Couple slices of Hawaiian bread in toaster, gravy reheated, and a couple over easy eggs on top. Fast easy and delicious. Plus I have attracted the attention of a couple of border Collies who know I always make a couple extra eggs for them.

My next deer season starts tomorrow. But if history is my teacher I might go set a couple hours and pretent to hunt but will be thinking about spring walleye fishing the whole time.

I am gonna try what a burger one of these days when I think about it, but not willing to make a pilgrimage just to do it. Freddy's ain't bad I likened it to Steak n shake with more ice cream. Chick FIL a I am simply not willing to wait in their lines and I remember when they were a low quality chicken joint in the mall next to the theater. That and once upon a different lifetime I was behind a mall is MS when the. Chick FIL a guy came out and emptied the oil into a big barrel the smell was enough to gag a possum. All in all for burgers a Dave's Double from Wendy's is my favorite. Although I will often hit McDonalds on way home from Infusion appointments, ain't the best but they are always the same and they are fast.

Guessing it was a drug house? Believe they are called caltrops or something like that.

I don't think hamburger helper gets enough publicity! Had to take wife to ER, don't go to ER unless you are about to die for real. 3 trips back and forth to Spfld in 24 hrs. Taking care of stuff at home and hanging around thinking she would be out soon. She is a bit nauseous still and basic hamburger helper is one of the few things that sounded good to her so being me I would have driven back to sofld if necessary but found some at the local DG. And I gotta admit I ki d of like Hamburger Helper although I usually use it as a.starting point and add stuff to it but this time I kept it plain for her. Here is to Hamburger Helper, it ain't just for those who can't cook or broke students. This one hasn't quite soaked up all the liquid yet needs a few more minutes.

On occasion I have to use my left arm to "help" my right arm get up to where I need it. Mostly I have to figure out new ways to do stuff, like making a lot more use if my left arm and heavier use of swear words.

Trust me I fully understand.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say, you climbing a ladder might not be your best idea. But probably not your worst either.

Just don't fall over and feed the worms!

Sometimes I definitely need someone to say, "thats a stupid idea". Not that it would stop me but I still need it on occasion.

A light weight tip heavy rod is still a tip heavy rod and feels like it. I balanced an 8' crappie maxx rod once, took a lot of lead but absolutely made the rod feel lighter. A decent rod balanced well feels like a fcompletely different rod. The first St. Croix rod I cut down the butt end of, well it took a bit of mental fortitude supplied by some pain killers after shoulder replacement surgery to achieve. I notice the difference in a balance rod even more now with my dominant shoulder made of scrap metal and recycled Walmart bags. -
Ditto, I gotta have it and I have my favorite places I stop at. Someone ask me what the price is and I have no idea.

I don't drink much anymore but do enjoy a cold Dos Equis on occasion, and the occasional Peach Crown with sprite or once in a while a bit of Scotch just to be different. But an alcoholic couldnt make it one day on what I drink in a year.

I have a "thing" about rod/reel balance. I counter balance every combo I have so that they balance just in front of the reel seat. Years ago I took a piece of 1x6boak and drilled several holes of different sizes and depths in it. I melt a pot of lead and pour the holes full giving me a whole smorgasbord of sizes and weights to test. A little bit if electrical tape to attach a weight to the butt of the rod and voila'. I also have a thing for the extra long handles and have been known to hack saw off a a couple inches from a St Croix rod so that it doesn't dig into my fat belly when sitting down. Life is too short to deal with rods that aren't how I want them to be. -
I am not iverly concerned about how clean the floors are as a reason to wear shoes inside, but I have run splinter or toothpicks into feet inside, stepping on a small piece of gravel etc. such and after surviving the leggo years with the kids I usually wear some kind of shoes inside. Besides ya just never know when ya need to go outside and take a whiz, older I get the less time I can spare to get to the starting gate!

While I am fairly certain the FW wouldn't crap on the floors (maybe in a 5 gallon bucket on the porch if necessary), but I certainly wouldn't bet any money on him not chewing up cords or furniture. But that is what shock collars and flip flops are for.

What area are ya gonna fish?

Well your old requirement of the wind from the same direction for 3 days is good. White bass may be HOT.
