When we used to eat them the egg sacks got rolled in whatever the fillets did. All fish were fried in a skillet back then and the trick was to lay a fillet over the fish egg sacks k so they didn't splatter everywhere. They were rich and had a different flavor and obviously a different texture. Walleye eggs were usually boiled in a Zatarains crab boil and then had some Cajun season and eaten on crackers. Tasty but definitely a textural hurdle for some people. Catfish egg we tried making into patties but they weren't all that good. I don't save them.any more as I went to deep-frying but since I now tend to do fish on my Blackstone I might save a few tongive it a try again. I do think we tried carp eggs way way way back when we trolling for them but since they didn't become a regular thing I don't think they were probably very good. Just imagine an entire of pickled carp eggs would separate the adventurous eaters from the rest in a hurry.

Have eaten a LOT of egg sacks from bluegill, crappie, walleye and even catfish. Fried egg sacks from the sunfish family are fabulous.

Just about every thing in this world that is fun has the capability to stick, stab, bite or poison ya. I still tellmy wife it just isn't worth half of my stuff to get rid of her yet. A few years ago a small gun shop in spfld got robbed. They cut through the back door but didn't get much because the shop locked all the firearms up in a safe at night. They had quite a few firearms but locked them up every night. Good on them.

Over the course of Amerucan History England has been more of a friend than an adversary. If England were to be attacked tomorrow we would be there for them and I feel certain they would be here for us if needed. I have zero interest in all the monarchal goings on but then I am not British and to them.it is important so I would stand proud next to them while they mourn the passing of their queen and celebrate a new king.

Qhen you start getting meds to counter the side effects of other meda is when it starts down hill. All of the anti anxiety drugs should be outlawed or used in VERY limited circumstances. The whole cancer thing gives me a bit of appreciation for some meds, without them it is unlikely I would be here to irritate folks. Meds PROPERLY used are a wonderful thing, unfortunately most if not all are over prescribed.

They tend to forget to tell you just how bad the constipation can get when you are on steady diet of narcotics.

I looked at some but decided on the Franchi, Time will tell if I chose wisely or poorly. Used to shoot a LOT of Shotgun & clays but haven't for a long time. Just trying to ease myself back into it a bit.

Well I have fired much in the way of shotguns or serious rifles since my should replacement. I had however bought a new Franchi Affinity III 20 gauge. I swear I have fishing rod/reel combos that weigh more than it does. Part 2 is that since I don't have the stamina to make the long walks pheasant or even quail hunting anymore I decided I would buy me an automatic clay pigeon thrower because I can still stand in the yard and shoot clays. So I did, got it assembled and grabbed new Franchi and threw 5 clays and broke all 5 so that ain't bad. I did certainly notice the recoil on my titanium and plastic shoulder, especially the one time I short mounted it and it got a good running start. Now 30 minutes later my shoulder isn't complaining any more. While it wasn't too bad I wouldn't want to shoot a couple rounds of trap at one time. I do like the Shotgun though, gotta toughen up my shoulder. Next up will.be old 11-87 12 gauge. It is heavy but with light loads it was always a soft kicker. Good to be back (sort of) to shooting things that go BOOM instead of pew.

From when I went through some of that the Dr. Told me to take Naproxen, actually gave me a script for heavier dosage. Naproxen helps with inflammation which is part of what makes it worse. But that is what them Dr. Dudes are good for, my favorite Dr was kind of uppity and not much of a bedside manner but dang he could diagnose, prescribe and make a few snotty comments in short order. I foolishly asked "so do I get a lecture about being more careful or taking better care of my back?" His response why? You wouldn't listen anyway, guys like you pay for my new office furniture. Gotta love a guy who tells it like it is.

I know some people who will fight you if you say anything bad about their chiropractor. I also know when my mother ran an Emergency Room that every ambulance driver was very familiar with the location of every chiropractor office. Nice. Many times I have considered carrying while brush hogging. In the 2nd I know I am a bad enough pistol shot that it just isn't worth it for me. But dang sometimes I wish I had my Ruger Wrangler with me.
