  1. Lol Bobby. Got the book on Kindle. Very interesting read!
  2. Yeah, I'm guessing someone's computer program has a bit of a bug in it.
  3. Wow! I should've bought a couple of these as an investment! Anyone have a copy they'd part with for less than 47K??? https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0974476315/ref=tmm_pap_used_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=used&qid=1487943859&sr=1-1 $47,074.30 + $4.72 shipping + $0.00 estimated tax Used - Good Connecting readers with great books since 1972. 4. What an awesome day! Way to go guys.
  5. Thanks for the post. I really enjoy the local history as well. However, I looked on Amazon and for "Buried by Table Rock Lake", those of you that have a copy might want to keep it in a safety deposit box. Wow. $602 for a used paperback copy? Time for a second edition?
  6. I've withdrawn into my safe place
  7. Glad to see you back in the saddle, QB.
  8. As a glass boat owner, I feel that my civil rights are being violated here.
  9. Wow! What happened from 1961 to 1966??
  10. Are we replacing the carrier?
  11. Great report, James! Enjoyable read on a winter's day. Or, any day for that matter. I'm going to give that War Eagle Grubber a try. We have a weed or two up here (aka grass).
  12. Sigh...
  13. Lilley's Landing has ethanol-free in 87 octane. Based on many statements from Don Weed in the BBC Merc forums, I am hesitant to burn premium in my Merc ProXS. Below is a statement from Don that I saved as a reminder to myself. I believe that Don tends to error on the side of caution but when one has an outboard approaching 16K in value, I guess so do I. However, I'm interested in others perspective on this. p.s. I've never tried to buy gas at Lilley's. Is it available at the street or dock? Higher octane fuels burn SLOWER and COOLER. When utilized in an engine not DESIGNED for high-octane, this results in an INCOMPLETE BURN of fuel (and essentially, a richer operating condition- which contributes to carbon buildup). Also, because the fuel burns SLOWER and COOLER, the BTU output is LOWER, and the power produced per unit of fuel is actually LOWER. This means "less performance".
  14. Or even further. Cool fish pic!
  15. Merry Christmas everyone.
  16. Hopefully, you'll still be able to handle the 1/8 Ned and not be limited to the 1/16. I crack me up. Best of luck with the healing process.
  17. Was it your casting arm and will you need surgery?
  18. Fantastic picture! Merry Christmas to everyone! footnote: good to see the Dave is sill kickin'.
  19. Looks like a good day on the water. Way to go!
  20. Micropterus, sent you a pm.
