Exactly.

That makes me feel better. I have excellent visualization skills so I'm going to enjoy "projecting" your verbal response with my expansive imagination! Ooooooh. You ARE naughty!🤬
-
THAT'S the part I was talking about! Not the calm, cool and collected boring part before rage and realization set in! We need a little color here in order to really be able to appreciate the moment!
-
Yeah, my brain had been pretty much self-isolated for quite some time before this all started so I can't be held responsible for myself!
-
Hmmm. I wonder if they could be related? The wives I mean. Or the dad's too I guess except then that would mean that you and me........🤯 Yikes!

I understand - without the cash no deal is a good deal. However, I've longed believed in buying the best of anything that I could afford and that has eliminated a lot of buyer's remorse for me even if it requires a little patience (of which I ain't got much). Personally, I believe the Trick Steps would be worth waiting for.

Oh man. Looks like one of those deals that hurts worse the next day and even more the day after that! Hope not for your sake..... Can you tell us what the first words out of what was left of your mouth were?🤭

I put 'em on my Z521 shortly after buying it three years ago and it's about a coin flip as to whether the Trick Steps or the Ultrex were the best boat related purchases I ever made. I got mine before the price went up due to the crazy increase in demand but think they'd be worth it at twice the price. Getting in and out of the boat ain't gettin' any easier with age and these things make it a breeze. As for sturdiness I'm a light weight at 225 compared to my brother at 265 but we both can go up and down without the things even acting like we're on 'em.. The guy used to and I think still does build frames and chassis for Indy cars so he knows a thing or two about quality and it shows. I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on the Trick Steps and in my opinion no other competitor came close in terms of quality and ease of use. As was mentioned previously they're super easy to install and the customer service is as good as it gets since you're talking directly to the owner who couldn't be more helpful. He also makes some really cool stainless pedestal plugs that look really nice and keep water and terminal tackle from finding their way into the boat hull. He threw one in for me to try when I bought the steps and I liked it so much I bought another one. I think they were twenty bucks at the time. Highly recommended!

You must have the luck of a future Lotto winner! I've tried everything I can think of including keeping the bottle upright and it just don't seem to matter. Every spring I buy twelve (count 'em - twelve) bottles of the Loctite and seldom make it to the end of year without having to buy more! I don't have much experience with the Gorilla stuff yet but I just checked and the one bottle that I bought last year is still good so it may be a serious contender! Of course, I've only used the brush applicator thingy and not the nozzle so that's probably a big reason why. I always put an old hand towel down on the carpet before I glue anything and that's kept the stuff off the boat but by the end of the week I can stand the towel up in the corner!

Brrrrr.🥶

If you're buying superglue for the boat (or anywhere else for that matter) you'd better get more like four or five bottles as that stuff can dry up and become worthless faster than most of my favorite fishin' spots. I always have at least six of 'em in the boat but then I'm a little on the sloppy side. The only thing worse than not having superglue is thinking that you do but you don't cause the dang thing dried up. The Gorilla Glue version is pretty good too and I like the little brush applicator thingy (technical term) that comes with it. But again, don't get just one!

How in God's name could YOU ever run out of anything related to fishing tackle? I was pretty sure that Tackle Warehouse got half of their stuff from your basement surplus supply store! 🎣

Mary Ann or Jeannie was the dilemma of my youth. And I'm still tryin' to sort that one out. Some of those sitcoms were like soft porn. Bob Denver must have thought he was in heaven everyday he went to work....... Kinda like Wrench!

I bet her and Madonna would be crazy popular in Iran too. Some of those countries really knows how to treat a lady.......

I'm hoping with all the tournaments being cancelled that it will at worst be a push as to the number of boats. Although that might only apply to weekends I guess. As usual the great American philosopher Rosanne Roseannadanna hit the nail on the head when she said, "It's always somethin'."

Well, China, France, Italy and Spain ain't doin' so hot for starters. Nor are Hong Kong and Singapore. I believe all of those are high on the top ten list. And if you believe the numbers coming out of Germany then that makes one of us. Those numbers don't come out of Berlin but are put out by the individual states and many think they're highly suspect. While our healthcare ain't perfect I believe it will be proven to be the best in the world (still) when this is over with. Just me.
-
I agree. However, it's how the numbers are being utilized by most of the media and so many politicians that I find so annoying and unnecessarily misleading. In many cases these numbers are being manipulated so as to manipulate us. I just want some truth and honesty which is pretty hard to come by these days. Give me the facts and I'll figure it out from there. And I completely agree with your healthcare analysis. No one can be 100% prepared for everything all of the time regardless of how much money can be thrown at it. As my wife likes to say, "You gotta expect a few losses in a big operation." As for single payer healthcare I think the success or more importantly, lack thereof, of countries employing socialized medicine in dealing with the virus to this point will put that conversation to sleep for a long, long time.
-
I would really like to see some numbers as to how many have actually died "from" the virus versus how many died that tested positive to "have" the virus. I think it's pretty misleading to just lump all the numbers together when so many of the victims were unlikely to live much longer regardless. I'm not trying to minimize anything here but also don't care for the mass sensationalizing of things which many are doing for purely self serving reasons. Call it a prediction or just wishful thinking but I believe that thing's will start improving by the end of April and we'll be trending back towards "normal" (whatever that might look like in this new future) by June. Paranoia and CYA will lead to some prolonged restrictions based upon nothing but just that plus the media and many politicians don't want it to ever end because it's so good for business. Even if it's only their business.
-
SHUT IT DOWN AND SPACE OUT THOSE POSTS!! At least until, oh, let's say 26 April at 7:18 pm..........🤧
-
Logical thinking and rational reasoning when implementing these "policies" can pretty much be summed up in three letters - "CYA". If anyone asks for clarification as to whether or not they can do something 99% of the time the answer is gonna be "no" and a new restriction has instantly been created. The resort we're supposed to be checking into on 1 May is closed until at least 30 April so I would imagine we're screwed. Unless we hear otherwise I guess we'll still prepare as if we're gonna go but at some point pretty soon they're gonna have to start backing off some of this stuff we're gonna become Venezuela. Nationwide poverty kills too and the long term effects will stick around far longer than this virus.

From the looks of that parking lot in the background there were plenty of folks out tryin'!

My favorite! I had that one laminated and it's been on display above my workbench for what must be thirty years now! Well played sir!

Well. I guess everything is a matter of perspective but I'll be 67 in eight lousy days! Remember when I told you that when I was at KU that Allen Fieldhouse still had a dirt floor?🤦♂️ And YES we are without question 2020 National Champions and I don't care what any of the loser, pretender, wannabes around here have to say about it. And don't bore us with all the "Cheater" comments all you clean living but on the double secret probation haters!!!!
