    Every other Friday there is one out of Linn Creek and on the opposite every other Friday, there is one out of PB2. I don’t know if they are listed yet, but that’s how it was last summer and I know (last I heard anyway) they are planning to go again this summer.

    I’ll be fishing my first bass bash this year. I was on the water for nine hours yesterday and it was cold, windy, choppy, and miserable. I managed only 3 keepers all day and was middle of the pack for my club tournament. It took 23 pounds to win. i have no idea what to expect from fishing the bash. I can’t even decide what part of the lake I want to fish. I have no idea what I will throw. I’ll probably have a spinnerbait, jig, and/or craw crankbait. I might even throw a lizard if I’m feeling cheeky.

    I just got a 7’6” david frits perfect Palmer from lew’s. I haven’t tried it yet, but that is exactly what I bought it for. Deep diving cranks like 5xd, 6xd, and dd22.

    There was an eerie color outside this evening in Lake Ozark, but there was a really pretty double rainbow that came with it.

    Wait, what?? Where did you hear that? I have not heard about that anywhere. If it is true, I need to be educated.

    The app used for kayak tournaments has gps tracking and time stamps. Only the tournament director can see these, from what I understand.

    I was perusing the forum archives and saw a pretty good thread about boat insurance on the Table Rock Lake forum. I want to say it was a thread from 2014, but don’t hold me to that.

    I got hung up on a log and was trying to get myself unhung. It couldn’t have been more than 6ft deep. However it was way out in the middle of the lake. I was way up the river on pomme de terre. The wind was blowing like crazy and the water was pretty murky (not to mention cold, it was October). I unfortunately had my cell phone in my pocket at the time. My wife was less than pleased about that.

    I accidentally knocked one off the the deck in October. Fortunately, I was able to reach in and grab it before it sank out of reach. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up, I lost my balance, and I fell in after it (only time in my life I’ve ever fallen out of a boat). Lol. I did manage to save the rod though.

    What if you lose it overboard? I’ve always wondered about that. I just assumed there would be no replacement for that.

    I’ve always wanted to catch one of those. I’ve gone snagging a few times, but haven’t caught anything but logs.

    Nice. I like my 73sv. I wish I had a bigger screen and I wish mine was a touchscreen, but I’m still happy with what I’ve got. Congrats on the new unit.

    I was out yesterday and it was really tough. I was all over in the dam area to way up the gravois. Most water temps I saw were in the mid-40s. I blanked for the day only catching one short fish all day and saw some pretty low weights in a group of pretty decent LOZ fishermen.

    That is totally wack. The Ozark Angler definitely handled that video in a much better and more mature way than I would have.
