if its riding rear low their is to much weight in the bed. You could probably haul a bed full of mulch (about a cubic yard) w/o any issues, but a bed full of sand or gravel would cause some problems. You really don't need to worry about it unless your using it as a work truck to haul materials or you are towing a heavy trailer.. An occasional load of lumber, garbage, yard waste, furniture, or your camping gear is not going to overload your truck.

Did pretty well on the Gasconade this weekend. Had to walk allot of shoals due to water level, but handled great while fishing. We brought way to much stuff, caught a decent number of fish. Was fun...Did 20 miles, each oared about half of it...and we need more practice...but no major mishaps. Was fun, but a heck of an upper body workout. Hit a few muscles I have not used much in a long time.

Here is the mystery fish. Did not check for teeth. Fought pretty well, acrobatic, and did not want to be measured.

Did pass the Roubi a couple times in the last two days. 4x by road, once by boat. Gascy smallie fishing was good, Slosh & I still need some more rowing experience, but have the trolling motor mastered. Did 20 miles in about 26hrs and camped on the river last night. Slosh got the best smallie. Measured 17.25, my best 15.5 smallie, and a fat 15" LM. Caught a suicidal red ear on a Whopper Plopper, and a new one for me. 13" fish silver with a big gold eye. Ate a Mega Giant Dog X. Figure 60 to the boat between us today but not fast fishing. Only fished on top, but Slosh did well with a Mega 110. A couple Fluke fish.

Why deal with it yourself? Usually drop a broken rod off at the local dealer that I bought it from and they take care of it. They write a ticket, then call when ready. It's a small fee to rod co, plus postage.Fly Shops mostly. Those still in biz understand customer service.
