Hey johnboy,
Aunt's is a good place to fish and is (as everyone is sorely aware of) my favorite for most of the year. Aunt's has trees in some areas, rocky places in others, deep points not far away and just about any kind of habitat you are looking for to fish that particular day.
With that being said... it is (for me) more of a Kentucky and occasional LM area with less small mouth. I have better luck for small mouth toward the dam and the rockier deeper areas (point 9). I am certain there are guys who slay the smallmouth in Aunt's but I am not one of them.
