Lots of ducks all over, but getting info beyond that is and will be next to impossible on the internet to many Duck Dynasty internet scouters, and with that comes some of the most inconsiderate, rude intolerable people around. Had some experience with them yesterday and though I may give info out about fishing with what im seeing from this new crop of waterfowlers info will only be given to friends on details and to be 100% honest that is what im hearing from many veteran hunters. The benefit to this is the old-timers are opening up more to each other and more and more joint hunts happening to combat these punks who think they see a TV show or Youtube video and know how to duck hunt or think they know how. Not meaning to sound rude or anything but stating a fact.

Heh, I solved that on my boat by simply putting down strips, Heck even in gritty boats you put a few Barracuda in the boat or WFO Dolphin bite there is not enough grit stickum or felt in the world and don't even get my going on a wfo wahoo bite, God invented them to teach us what snot is all about lol.

Tracker is hard to beat Mitch, but for a Ski/Sport style family boat I would lean toward Mako boats. Mako 21LTS is a good boat that could fit the bill of ski/sport. I used Mako's for years and if I was ever to move back to the coast it would be one of two boats I would own. Pure reliability is why! The other is an offshore Mako ( gotta have two ) The LT my buddy owns and constantly takes his family out on Florida's intercostal and its back waters both skiing and fishing ( him his wife and two kids ). He did modify it with a Bimini Top though for shade.

Mitch, I spent over a year looking for a boat. The first question I had to ask myself was ( What will I use the boat for ) It came down to Fishing, Hunting, and lastly recreational use aka tube/ski/ pleasure cruise with wife. For the fishing part I had to have a minimum of a V-hull and 19ft or better. It had to have rod storage to handle 8ft single piece rods and hold at minimum of 8 rods. It had to have ample storage, a good live-well and be able to be fitted for trolling at minimum of 5 rods, 2 downriggers and stay dry in rough water. Hunting it had to be beachable without worry. ( This instantly eliminated fiberglass ) it then had to be able to hold 14 dozen decoys, 2 hunters, 2 dogs and all the other gear required. Recreationally it had to make momma happy as we all know the old saying. After looking over many manufactures taking many test drives and comparing everything and keeping always in mind what my MUST-HAVES were I settled on my tracker. I know its not fiberglass but for the price of fiberglass vs everything I have done to my boat im still ahead in price. It might be an option you may want to think about.

Mic I would say 85% of people don't know how to cook waterfowl properly and a big part of it is in cleaning and prep. I have had more bad duck and goose than I can even begin to express. One of the biggest mistakes is using sage on it a major no no on any waterfowl.

TAM is truly getting better and that is scary, typically I would say a NFL next season bound QB like JF would play just enough to beat a team but JF is not like that. Last year maybe but after watching him last night he has taken on a leadership role and that is scary for anyone facing him. His skill are unquestionably great ( I have joked with some friends he need to wear #99 ) I was fortunate enough to watch Wayne play in person and before he went pro and JF reminds me a lot of him. His Leadership and decision making this year are impressive. TAM will when against Mizz so long as JF is QB and I think it might be his ( make a statement and point ) game.

OTF, Why are you so high on Franklin? Mauk is playing very good and winning, he lost to SC sure but that is a top notch team and Conner makes the team so much different when he is in. Capps is a Dove and Quail hunting area and those to activities tend to kick deer out making it a difficult deer hunting area. I've tried it a few times but found the other activities negatively impact the chances for a deer and so I gave up on the area for that.

Correct Correct Disagree and Agree. if anything but trolling or vertical jigging then you are watching TV but vertical jigging you can actually use it to see how fish behave to the lure and presentation which will help you catch fish. It will also allow you to determine size of fish which is very helpful when crappie fishing. In trolling it has shown me many things that have improved my ability to catch fish such as type of bottom fish are related to and direction they are facing an more importantly subtle little things the sonar is not seeing such as a cement block or depression with a ledge under it. Also allows for me to watch followers vs biters. In those two application it is a tool of high value but you do have to fish to catch them.

I really liked what I saw out of Mauk last night, He has an arm when he has time and is accurate, he is without doubt a runner as well and not afraid to take or make a hit. Dual Threat QB I think the coaches have been holding him back after what I saw last night. I would say let the boy play his style he had an impact on the other players and brought them up a few degree's. Tenn had more hold that were not called last night than a high school prom. They couldn't contain the Mizz D without it 100% agree with Al on that. If Mizz lets Mauk play his game against KY start to finish it could be real ugly and a blow-out of epic proportion. No reason to put Franklin back in at all if Mauk keeps playing like this and in fact could be a massive mistake. Mauk needs to definitely be in against TAM! If allowed to play his game with the way Mizz D is TAM could be embarrassed by Mizz. I saw a lot last night about Mizz.
