  1. The one nice thing about all these videos is it should help with the science and increase prediction time.
  2. Blaze I looked for it but the Youtube Deer decoy videos kept stopping me.
  3. TR doesn't need stripers its nice being able to fish her and not have them on my mind. Now she does have some that came visiting from Beaver but not many. Though it would be funny to watch what happens to the white river arm if they did stock them. I could hear the Jaws music now... As you are sitting enjoying a quiet morning of trout fishing and all of the sudden trout start grey hounding out of the water and giant flashes of silver coming up all around them lol.
  4. No thanks got me a nice Yule Log already
  5. Actually I was going to use this equation. 1000.00 + 30% = 1300.00 - 40% = 520.00 - 30% = 364.00 + tax total of 398.58
  6. YAAAAA what will I win? lol
  7. Al, I have a saying; " You are only as stupid as the part of the country you are from " Most people don't get that lol. People who were born and raised in the country know the country but are lost to the ways of the city and the big city might as well be Mars to them. City people are the same way to the country. If a City person moves to the country they try and change it to the city more often then not.
  8. Global warming, Gun Control, even hog farming can all be thought of as politically motivated as politics does play into them to diffrent degree's. If all people talked about was the outdoors things would get old real fast. Its important for a website to be able to have discussion on multiple topics for it to survive. The topic in and of itself is not the problem it is the people posting to it. Emotions and Views vary which is a good thing for thought. The issue arises when people intentionaly attack other members. Ive been in Phils place you can either allow topics and moderate them or be heavy handed and not, but how much of a persons time should be spent keeping adults in line?
  9. Looks like we all got lucky, I've been getting pics and talking to friends who are working the storms and Moore got destroyed these are friends like me who its been our job for many years to work these storms and I've never heard their voices cracking so bad, My heart goes out to Everyone affected.
  10. good here
  11. Im running a Merc Optimax 90 and no issues it every so often burps but that's it and that's only when I run ethanol which I try my best not to run.
  12. Doc just come out with me before you set up the cutter so you can see it and try it. Ill even help ya set-up the cutter if you decide its something you want to start doing. Its a lot of fun and turns slow days into productive days, one of the secrets to it is you are on your sonar all day so you are learning more about whats underwater than ever before. Trolling teaches me spots for other fish and fishing types.
  13. Wayne I think you hit the nail on the head with color selection. When im working the bank early or late its shad colors when the sun comes up I go to more perch colors. Its deadly on smallmouth and walleye.
  14. Yes I have a major problem with drinking and driving of any type! Lost to many friends to people who cannot stay put when drinking.
  15. Not sure what your showing other than a lot of dinner floating on the water but Electric barriers are a JOKE. They installed them in the So-cal lakes to stop Stripers from getting in them, Didn't work so well especially if any are already upstream.
  16. And the Alabama Rig is nothing more than an Umbrella rig. I can cast the big model and the little model one just doesn't kill your arms as bad.
  17. 16'' Trophy, Wilson we marked stripers out in the middle between the point where the crappie are and the island No shad so didn't try them, Super long arches and many of them I almost thought about getting shad but the crappie kept biting and its hard to pull off a good bite and nothing like crappie in the pan
  18. Nope not bad at all
  19. Got to the lake at 2pm and launched at 12 bridge, started trolling as soon as I turned the boat around with 5m flicker shad in white. water temp 74 wind light. First Crappie came about 100 feet in to the troll and it just kept happening. Had a guest along and got him his largest smallmouth at 15 '' and not 5 minutes later he bested it with a massive 20'' smallmouth. Always great to see someone take a PB but then to best it was awesome. We caught 18 crappie, 14 whites 3 hybrids 1 bluegill 2 smallmouth 1 largemouth and a very healthy chunky Walleye. Finished and at the dock by 6pm and Crappie in the belly at 6:45. That's a great afternoon. And here is the invitees
