Sorry for showing up late. It was great to meet so many of you, and to see the genuine interest of people. I was curious to see what kind of "meeting " would be held. Seemed to be a productive one. Great job on the craws looking forward to the release, and to fishing trips with many of you. Great group of people.

Bill, welcome to the site. No these are not typical, but seems to come out yearly. Don't worry, we don't pick on new guys .... usually. Really nice site, and I think it was more of a misunderstanding of text. Text shows no emotion. I have never tallied up all 47 fish that I have caught from 1991 (ish) to now. All on pole and line. . No, there really are more, like two. I do enjoy reading the multi species posts. I plan on getting out a few more times this year. I am looking forward to a trip where I catch multiple species. Been a while since I have caught more than 2 different types. Planning on checking out the micro fishing also. I really want to catch the darters that I seen as a teenager in the St Francois Creek. Keep posting fellas.

Sounds like a good deal to me. As long as the lands have something for everyone, I like them. I love to camp at state parks myself. -
I think that the cold temperatures of concrete may play a factor in the old myth. The wood acts as an insulator from the concrete and gives a more stable temperature, maybe...?

Macsimus (Cal) is great. He just doesn't seem to like to show off his real skill. I just hope to continue my trend of doubling the number of fish caught the prior year. I do plan on being there.

I typically don't keep fish, but was not aware of cleaning them at the ramp being illegal. What is the problem? I thought it was a common practice.

Had me laughing also (at the post). I have never used a spoon, and am curious. I primarily fish in creeks and rivers, lots of debris. I'm afraid that I will snag left and right with an exposed treble hook.
