Of course all businesses have insurance to pay......but it's reasonable and there are limitations to what that insurance covers. They can't just serve up poison for a couple days and expect to still see a profit at the end of the month.
I swear, the way some of you pick at my EVERY WORD...... It's like politicians nit-picking at their opponents. 🙄 "He said 5 billion and it's actually 4 trillion".
Malpractice insurance covers exactly what it implies......and then some. And you (or your insurance company) pays for it UP FRONT.
I've read A LOT of instructional materials, spent way more time than 47 minutes reading them too. Plus sat through seminars, and not one included stories, or even pictures, of fish caught & landed.
I still benefitted from the information. 👍
Nope, not even remotely.
No part of my hourly fee is escalated because I might make a mistake, or misdiagnose and cause your boat to explode.....and then have to defend myself in a lawsuit.
Grocery stores don't consider that as a possibility when calculating markup on retail items. "Someone might slip and fall while getting this milk because we didn't scrub the floor.....so we'd better add 2.00 to the sale price of each unit".
Restaurants don't charge extra because someone might choke on a match stick that's inside a French fry.
Medical fees are escalated off the charts for that reason specifically.
There are a number of things that people can eat to survive if they HAVE TO.
The fact that you have a cell phone, computer, and the electricity and service to support them indicates that you don't have to eat SHTF food yet.
You won't get an itemized bill. Not an exclusive one that covers the doctor & hospitals malpractice insurance, and time in court that YOU are paying for. In advance mind you !
In what other profession do the CUSTOMERS pay for the expenses of the alleged professional being sued ?
Before you declare how well the "system works" can you please break this down and justify 96,000.00 in the first place?
Sounds like a bunch of 400.00 towels, and 1100.00 pillow cases to me.
During the white bass run, years ago, Cricket caught a big buffalo and insisted on keeping it. It was like butchering a hog, made a huge mess, and he said it tasted like $#!t.
I choose to believe him......I ain't eating those nasty bastards!
Commercial fishermen on the Mississippi used to target Buffalo, using gill nets, during certain times of the year.
So at one time there was actually a market for them.
OMC went through a similar ordeal in the past. A lot of the '87-'88-'89 motors were actually built in 1986.
They were good ones too. I'm still running 2 of them today. 👍 I bet you won't be able to say that about the '24 Mercs in 2061 😅
So last Friday Mercury Outboard division in Fond du lac, Wi. laid off 400 workers. Today they laid off another 140. 😲
Someone was quoted as saying it was because of "excess inventory".....But yet when someone wants to swap motors, and has cash in hand, the waiting time is 3-5 months. 🤔
Whaddya reckon is going on ?
I'm betting that sponsorships to all these wannabe pro fishermen are about to get trimmed drastically !
But you do tie more flys, and buy more expensive fly boxes.
There are a several reasons that I like barbs on hooks that have nothing to do with landing fish. What do you do with a soaking wet barbless dry fly? Or any soaking wet barbless fly, for that matter? Might as well just throw it on the ground or in the stream...... because that's where it's going to end up.
Oh I'm making fun of it too ! 😅
My second marriage was the stupidest thing I've ever done. The fact that I'm capable of laughing about it NOW, I feel is a testament to my mental health. I feel like most guys, if they put themselves in the same situation, would go suicidal.
Actually this is the 3rd, but while we had a really big "wedding", and consider ourselves married.....I refused to sign yet another marriage license and register it with the state.
It only took the bowfishers about 4-5 years to put a noticable dent in the carp & buffalo population here at Lake O .
The flats used to be lousy with them....but I haven't seen a single one out on the flats over the last year or so. They are just gone!
Oh I was once married to a nympho. It was cool, but in the end it cost me 164k and put me on the MOSOP list.
Learned a lesson that I'm sure I've shared here before....... If they are crazy in bed, then they are crazy when out of bed too. 👌
Public health officials say these are the first two bats to test positive for rabies in St. Louis County this year.
Really ? The STL "Public Health Officials" routinely capture, and test, bats ?
What other critters do they chase around and monitor?
