    Speaking of this......There was a hell of a commotion the other day, just up from my driveway. Crows, about 10 of them were all worked up about something, so I go out into the road to look up that way and 2 crows were in the road working over a young rabbit, and all the others were circling around cheering them on. WHY? Crows don't eat rabbits !!!! 🤔

    Shot placement is the key. There are ways to shoot a problematic critter that will ensure it will die......yet you won't have to dispose of it, or smell it's rotting carcass. Once an animal has caused ME to suffer, the idea of a quick ethical and humane kill goes out the window. Jus' sayin. Go away......and don't come back. Check! 👍 Feral cats around here get shot in the pancreas because I got tired of hauling them off.

    Your neighbors are crackheads.🙄 Mountain lions don't have time for 3 backyard chickens. More likely a hawk, fox, or feral cats. Did they all disappear on the same night? No piles of feathers and blood?

    No it was never at JB that I'm aware of. It's a 1981 She's a dirty girl, needs a good scrubbin'. Roller trailer with folding tongue, and electric remote control winch...... which is kinda cool.

    Bobbers and minnows are the way to go for a kids first time. But NOW isn't the time to do it. Wait until next Spring when they are running the shallow banks. Bluegill with a bobber, using crickets or worms would probably be best at this time. Backends of coves.

    The weight it takes to win really hasn't changed, but the number of guys coming in within a pound or so of that weight has increased dramatically.

    I have an 18' Lund deep-V with a Johnson 90 and 9.9 kicker sitting here. I restored it 12-14 years ago and the owner became ill. It has been sitting here ever since, he pays a dollar a day for it to just sit here. If interested I can post pics, contact him and urge him to just sell it. She really needs a new home. 🤷‍♂️

    He's not my pet. But yeah, Walt Enfield will stay here and keep an eye on things as long as we leave behind the bottle of 1888 Four Roses bourbon. I allowed the bottle to go dry once, and he launched a bottle of bleach through the drywall. True story 😳

    All great cities are in a perpetual state of construction. Like the Winchester mansion. If construction ever ceases then the poltergeists become restless and start doing devilish things. Gotta keep those hammers swinging to keep them at bay.

    The weather people and their incessant watches & warnings do more harm than good. Nobody pays any attention to them because they cry WOLF everytime a cloud passes over. The ONE TIME that a tornado actually touched down here, no sirens went off, and no warnings were announced beforehand. Go figure 🙄 Not that it was needed though. Because about 3 minutes before it hit there was no mistake that all hell was fixin' to break loose. 😳

    No, the night I got hit they were popping up from Warrensburg/Sedalia and moving eastward. I think there were 5 individual twisters that evening, and the one furthest East was the one that dropped in to visit my place. 3/12/06

    I've lived my entire life and only knew of 2 people that were stricken by it. A bus driver and a school teacher. But within the last year or so I suddenly know, personally, of 9 cases. (11 total). An earache that lasts 2-3 days......Then you wake up one morning and your face is dead on one side. Always the right side. 🤔 What the hell?

    Hmm. Like butter and sour cream ruins the flavor of a good baked potato? Like ketchup ruins the flavor of good french fries? I love dipping fish fillets (whether they are "good" or not) in some dill tarter sauce, or Sriracha. Yum! 😋

    I basically hate glass flyrods, but if I could find an old brown 8'6" Fenwick 6wt. I would have to buy it. That's what my first SERIOUS flyrod was, and it was a sweetheart. Sold it (along with reel & line) for 40.00 when I was trying to raise money for my first truck. Stupid!
