I thought that "closed seasons" on game animals was to protect the species during it's most vulnerable times. Having a closed season on hatchery raised and stocked trout does seem a bit odd.

Well, people USED TO work during the week. But judging by the amount of traffic on the roads, and the crowds in all the stores and malls at any given time nowadays........ Apparently the whole "working" lifestyle is a thing of the past. I wish we could have gotten rid of that concept back in the late 70's - early '80's when all I wanted to do was ride dirt bikes, hunt/fish, and smoke dope.

During a marine dealers meeting someone brought up the fact that Ameren could reduce the lake level by 22' which would put all current lakefront property on "second tier"......Then they could begin selling and developing LAKEFRONT PROPERTY all over again. Wouldn't that be hysterical? 🤣

Here's one for ya that should scare everybody to death...... A Merc 4-stroke with DTS (Digital Throttle and Shift) that SOMETIMES spontaneously revs to 4000+ RPM immediately after being shifted into reverse. Foot no where near the hotfoot throttle. Nobody has figured out why. And a recall hasn't been initiated yet.

I do too, if the circuits are designed in such a way that "troubleshooting" can effectively be done. Dealerships with techs freshly trained in those systems...... consistently fail to diagnose and repair them properly.

No I don't, and I have no plans to get any of that BS until the time comes that I have no more work coming in. Currently I have more work coming in than I could possibly get done, so if some jobs have to be turned down......let it be the "computer programmer" jobs. I'm a MECHANIC, not a computer technician. The dealers brag about that technology and pretend that it's just the greatest thing ever.....So I deal with mechanical and CDI issues, and I send folks to THE DEALERS to diagnose and repair the ignorant computer controlled BS. I've seen dealers with a whole team of "factory certified" techs 🙄 spend 3-9 days fussing over some weird computer controlled issue........just to end up profiting 60.00 - 120.00 in the end, and not even actually FIXING the issue. I can't afford to get sucked into that type of stuff. It's dealing with that kinda crap....and then trying to financially recover from it..... that gives places a bad name.

At times, yes. I had a semi-girlfriend once that was as sweet as could be..... but also somewhat annoyingly nuttier than a squirrel turd. I don't either, but they are the breed of choice in nearly every small town. 🙄 I'm sure they CAN BE fine pets, as long as you are responsible enough to keep them away from everyone else, their children, and their dogs. Even the sweetest of pitbulls don't play well at all with other dogs.
