  1. I'm not sure what the upper shaft diameter is on either, but if it is the same then I can't imagine why not.
  2. Unless you have a burning desire to ski down a snow covered mountain, ride a snowmobile, learn to surf, fish alongside grizzly bears and elk, camp on a volcano, or go on a charter boat for halibut or sailfish.... what's the point of traveling? Just so you can smell the air and say you've been there? Bore your friends with your pictures? Nobody actually cares, and if they seem impressed by your travel storys they are just pretending. Might as well keep your @$$ at home and spend your money on things that can make you happy for more than a week.
  3. Moss is good for you. Eat it and quit complaining. πŸ˜‹
  4. I feel yet another raise for Wrench coming shortly. 😊 2021 is looking to be a banner year.
  5. I want that sumbitch so bad !!!
  6. I'm overdue for a new one. I want an old school rear engine Snapper. Those things go anywhere. Lots of deals on zero-turns, but my property resembles a Motocross course moreso than a golf course.
  7. Take the load off, Manny...... Guess they discovered what the rev limit redline on that one was.
  8. Not everyone is into things that require strength and stamina. You can't judge the quality of life FOR EVERYONE by what they're capable of doing physically. The world champion Gamecock Breeder doesn't care that he is incapable of launching a boat, riding a mountain bike, or playing badminton. And the world champion chess player doesn't care that he is incapable of lifting a bag of chicken scratch. Each lives a very full life, and is quite happy with that life. How many avid fishermen do you know that can run marathons, and climb and repel down mountains.....or wish that they could? Personally I have no desire. I'm perfectly happy with my life knowing that I'll never reach the top of Everest......or even Stone Mountain Georgia for that matter.
  9. You're ignoring the fact that our lifespan has been steadily increasing for the last 1000 years. Before all the crap that they say is killing us came to be....We were lucky to see 39.
  10. Where's the video of it detonating ?
  11. Yeah, they climb up on the road to die of Covid.
  12. Gear? Explain yourself. Why should I have to change my diet that has been serving me well my whole life? That sounds like some $#!t a doctor or biologist would say, just so they could have something to say besides "I don't know". What other animal has to change it's diet when it reaches middle-age? If I have to change my diet then I'm going back to tittie milk and shittin' my pants.
  13. After I built the house in '06 I had a giant pile of scrap lumber, some plain, some CCA, and some painted (because my daughter liked to paint and I'd give her stuff to paint on just to keep her busy and out of the way). After about 7 years I decided to burn the scrap pile, and the only scrap lumber that wasn't obviously rotting was the stuff she painted on. I'm not sure what CCA is actually designed for, but it doesn't seem to last any longer out in the weather than plain untreated lumber. I still use it for trailer bunks....but I have to question the reason why.
  14. What foods would I need to cut back on? I actually think my energy deficit is more mental than anything. Once I get going I'm fine..... it's just the getting started that sucks sometimes.
  15. I would assume that rapidly falling water levels would prevent bass & crappie from starting bedding activity. And on lakes like Truman,Stockton, Pomme that is surely a factor every Spring. In lakes with stable conditions those fish might very well begin spawning in 60Β° water, but in.my experience in this region the temps when spawning is in full force is around 72Β°. And it's been that way for as long as I've been fishing here.
  16. Oil based stains and sealers are supposed to keep the wood from absorbing water, which they probably do, but then you just have dry-rot to contend with. Either way the wood doesn't seem to last any longer than totally untreated wood. If you want it to last a long time, paint it.
  17. It's not as much fun as it used to be. The biologist's ruined it. You'd probably go into a catatonic seizure if you smoked the crap that's out there now.
  18. Did you honestly feel better and have more energy after you had quit? More and more lately I find myself planning to do all sorts of things....and then when it comes time to do it I'm like.... "Whose dumb idea was this anyway"? I cherish the times when I have absolutely nothing to do but sit and feel guilty for not doing anything.
  19. This may be my summer to quit the Marlboro's. I gotta give them up sometime (I guessπŸ™„). As much as Sugarbritches wants me to quit, I don't think she is prepared to deal with me after the choice of sitting down, shutting up, and smoking a cig, is no longer an option.
  20. I agree 100% I've done my share of "experimenting" and I'd be way better off now if I had never gone there. I think anyways....who knows. It certainly build character, and the last thing I ever wanted to grow up to be is one of these boring old drones that blindly believe their educators, and then vote. πŸ˜‚
  21. I've known alot of wake&bakers that were perfectly good employees. I know quite a few tweekers that are genuine go-getters too. I guarantee there isn't a dock or boat hoist on this lake that doesn't have some "residue" on it. 😎 Doctors, Cops, you name it...... They're all doing SOMETHING. No doubt in my mind. Adderall is a biggie ! I'm pretty much a caffeine junky.
  22. I like a swimbait that has that sexy side-to-side wobble thing going on. What is this "Megabass Mag Draft" that everyone around here is loosing their minds over? I've reached the point where I don't even bother keeping up with all the hot new baits hitting the market anymore.
  23. No, I'm just entirely in-touch with REALITY. And the reality is that very VERY few even attempt to live up to my expectations. I'd rather be surprised than disappointed. The fact that we live in a society full of slackers and phuck-ups is something that you might as well get used to.
  24. The only thing that protects lumber is keeping it in the shade and sheltered from rain. I sealed all of my deck, except for the ramp leading up to it (because I ran out of sealer and wasn't sure if I wanted a ramp, or stairs). I've had to replace 16-18 deck boards but haven't had to replace any of the ramp boards, I assume because they are at a slant and shed water quickly. The only boards that are still in perfectly excellent condition after 15 years are the ones under the covered portion of the deck. Personally I think that sealer is a waste of time and money.
