If it were me I would head straight for the backend shallows. The bigger and wider the backend shallows are, the more fish are likely to be there. Once there, kill the motor and just stand in the middle of the boat and look around for awhile. Eventually you'll notice some kind of activity, a fish will break water, a school of baitfish will flush, or you'll notice that all the water birds are within a certain section. When you perceive a clue.....go there and start fishing.
If you get an idea in your head, like "I should try a spinnerbait".....do it immediately. The sooner you work through the process of elimination the sooner you'll have a limit of keepers.
