#14 is a big mayfly for a spring creek. I'm guessing it was a creamy olive colored (more cream than olive)? When fish are rising it's usually more important to time the rises than it is to perfectly match the bug. Most times if you see a fish rise, it will rise again in about 15-20 seconds. Don't present the fly until it's time.

Food wouldn't be any fun at all to me, without salt & pepper. 😥

I feel like that is the desired assumption. If people make up bold faced lies about our leaders, and present those lies to the citizens of the nation in wholesale fashion, then those people are always held accountable for it. There have been multiple accounts of exactly that in the past. Can a news source just make up totally false crap about someone and get away with it? Hell no! But when someone tells of a serious wrong.....and the wrongdoing is genuine....That is when you get the "no comment, this person is just crazy, let's change the subject" ploy, with no push for accountability. Because they just want the sound of the whistle to fade away ASAP.

I get those "it does it sometimes" jobs in here occasionally. I hate them SOMETIMES 😅 Other times I can look things over, do a few tests, make a simple adjustment, and it never happens again. Yours, from how you've described it, sure sounds like a fuel delivery issue.....but fuel delivery issues don't ordinarily care what time of day it is. They can care how much fuel is in the tank though (pin hole or crack in the pickup tube), and there may be a pattern there that relates to the level of fuel in the tank.

This is why it SHOULD be important for them to clear their name, and stop the "crazy conspiracy theories" once and for all. If there are truly no facts to back up the claims then why aren't they attacking the ones spreading "UNTRUTHS" to the tax payers? You have to remove the fuel guage sender and work through that hole. But here's the deal.....If you can siphon freely from the fuel supply line, then all is well with the pickup tube assembly. By "siphon freely" I don't mean that you can squeeze the bulb and squirt fuel out.....I mean that once fuel starts coming out it WILL KEEP COMING OUT as long as the end of the hose is below the fuel level in the tank.

Yeah they used to stock rainbows in the river 10 months of the year, and browns once in the fall. Then they spent a bunch of money expanding/improving the hatchery, and buying new trucks and machinery so they could produce way more trout.....and then started producing less trout/smaller trout than they ever have. Dude, those people have legal teams on full time retainer. Ain't no pro bono crap going on, they're getting paid anyway. An opportunity like "totally unjustified retaliatory slander" just helps cover their fees for (possibly) the next 5 years or so. They'd be ignorant to pass that up. No sir. I love the red craw one in early Spring, and that copper back/green sided one (whatever it's called) is an absolute bass destroyer before, during, and after the spawn. Water color doesn't even seem to matter.....as long as it's not gin clear. Nobody throws a square bill in CLEAR water, do they?

You used "poor economic conditions" as a reason NOT to file suit against someone further harming ones career unjustifiably. Poor economic conditions would warrant it EVEN MORE!
