Well I mean, you either leave the gut pile in the woods, or you take it home....stuff it in a bucket...and haul it back to the woods like a retard. The quicker you open up that cavity and start allowing things to cool off, the better. I can do it in about 5 minutes and only get my knife and hands bloody. But you'll see dudes at the checking stations hop out of their truck looking like Carrie on prom night. 🙄

Speaking of science....😆 Who remembers when they were taking water samples from all over the lake, closing beaches, and issuing warnings lake-wide because of e-coli levels that were off the charts? They feared it would hurt the economy, the lake was getting unfavorable press from the Globe and KC Star so they stopped testing. Nothing was actually done to cure the problem, it still exists as much or more than it ever did, we just don't talk about it anymore. So all the money and effort spent on that giant project was a giant waste. It isn't in the news anymore so it is as if it never happened.

Guarantee one thing.....If you get sick from hanging out down there, they'll blame it on romaine lettuce.

I know there were some folks around here that would gut shoot them on purpose so they'll run off and die, rather than to drop dead in their yard where they'll have to deal with it. Supposedly they had called MDC and were told it was ok. (Surely not, right?) Thankfully those jackasses have moved somewhere else. I just love that .3 -.4 business. I bet 0.13 million get creamed on the highway every night, and 0.021 million will die in a creek from a gut shot. 0.065 million will get caught in barbed wire fences and die of stress and dehydration. 11 will get killed by cougars, coyotes, or Pteradactyles every day....so x that by 365....... And 872 fawns were stillborn and eaten by possums. My math is terrible, what's the number gonna be on New Year's Eve ? Oh, and don't forget that 2 got struck by lightning last year.
