I don't believe that a fly has been created yet, that won't catch a fish. Certain materials are magic, and no matter how you configure it onto a hook......they are pretty well guaranteed to illicit bites no matter where you're fishing. Peacock herl, Ice Dub, Marabou, Ect.... Just slap it on a hook, any old way, and something will try to eat it. Size is the key.

Larry Gale is the closest ramp to you, and Red oak is the closest weigh-in spot if fishing that area. Sadly the ramps that you'd probably like to avoid are the ones that are closest to where the most big fish will be caught. Obviously there are big fish everywhere, but they are constantly getting transported towards PB#2.....so there's that.

What area of the lake do you plan to fish? They've already started drawing the lake down.....for some stupid reason. And there's no precipitation in the forecast, so you might wanna enter that data into your decision machine.

Look, we pay for the fish that are raised and stocked there ALMOST DAILY. We pay the salary of everyone that manages the place. And we pay the salary of the ones whose job it is to enforce the regulations. Why don't you use that phone that you're pecking on to call MDC and tell THEM how "underwhelmed" you are. Thanks man👍 I have tested and came up with a good PT ritual that was almost completely painless and doing great, but now I've wrenched my knee and can't do the exercises. I know all about the excess gas/poop thing. I actually thought I was having some kind of organ failure in a tree stand once. Scared me so bad that I left my bow and everything in the woods and started heading for the truck where my phone was. Just as I got back to the truck (1/4 mile) I started ripping farts like crazy, and within 2 minutes I felt perfectly fine. 😅 My wife's BFF is an EMT and they get calls all the time where the patient is nearly incoherent......And halfway to the hospital they will either fart or crap their pants, and by the time they get to the ER the patient is miraculously feeling fine. Embarrassed, but fine, and no longer in need of emergency care.....just a shower.

If we had that I'd undoubtedly get caught standing naked on the porch reeling in some underwear. No worse, I suppose, than the mad dash from the shower to the laundry room when there's unexpected company in the living room. It never fails...

As a trick little addition.....those angles hanging down make a really convenient place to attach clips/hangers for things like....oh let's see....Cull tags, Worm bags, Flex lights, pre-made Carolina rigs.... Use your imagination 🙂

It will stiffen up those lids just fine. 👍 Be sure to use the appropriate backing washers on the 3/16 or 5/32 rivets. And place a rivet every 6-8". You could make slits in the carpet with a razor knife....then stick the carpet back down over the rivet heads, if you don't wanna re-carpet. After a few trips out you will have to look real hard to find those rivet heads. Just makes the process a bit more time consuming.

Oh dude ! 😂 I had a gull swoop down and grab a Pop-R in the backend of Mill cr. It was hooked in the shoulder and would have survived if it would have just CALMED DOWN! Jesus! All of that screaming, biting and clawing was totally unnecessary. I ran out of patience after about 10 minutes, and stomped that SOB into a bloody pile of guts and feathers on the front deck of my boat. 🤷

Start posting pics of them, will ya? Because I'm guessing that the rest of the Taneycomo regulars are NOT seeing near as many as you claim to be witnessing. The last several trips that I was down there for 3-5 days......I don't recall seeing ANY DEAD FISH AT ALL. 🤔

I caught one in mid air on a mohair leech once. Hooked right in the mouth too. When we were kids we would stand under the street lights, toss pebbles into the air to watch the bats chase it to the ground. Fun times 😅. It's too bad that kids can't be entertained so easily nowadays.

Does anybody remember when people in the cities were falling ill because of the dried pigeon poop on the buildings? How was THAT situation rectified? Are there less pigeons now.....or did people just become immune to it ? Does nobody else realize how full of $#!t people are, as a whole? 🤔
