  1. It's always about a woman. There's either one that he wants and can't have, or he wishes he was one. 🙄
  2. No, I've never been actually booted from any forum. BBC and the Drake are the only ones that I won't post in..... but it's entirely by my own choice.
  3. Honestly I've never seen it not doable, but you have to use some caution if it's below 655. I've successfully launched/loaded bass boats as low as 652.7 but a 24' pontoon on a bunk trailer was a no-go.
  4. I've never been a fan of surgically or chemically altering animals. People who claim to believe in, and respect, the creator seem to constantly be in favor of altering nature. It just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe the parents of people who lean that way...... should have been "fixed" instead. 🤔
  5. Self baptized on the way out, hu? Clever! The guy should be famous now, he discovered the cure for aging. Never tell your psychiatrist that you're contemplating suicide.... he'll make you start paying in advance.
  6. You never try and “drive through a chine walk”. If it’s started walking, the only way you get it back is trim her down and slow her down. You can however, drive a high performance pad V hull in such a manner that keeps it from walking Dude, that is called DRIVING THROUGH IT! Jesus Christ 🙄. I'm done here. This is why you'll never find me on BBC.
  7. If you're selling NEW rigs then you taking them out and running that outboard over 3500 rpm just voided any implied warranty you advertised. There's a 10 hour break in period. And that data is stored in the ECM
  8. No offense intended here, but if I have to undergo a lesson from you before buying a boat from you.....then you'll have to knock 5k off the price in order to complete the sale. 😉
  9. A boat at 70+ mph has no worry's of prosecution, nor does it ever suffer from loss of sleep over mistakes or bad decisions. It will kill you in a heartbeat.....and never cry a single tear. The same goes for the team of clowns that designed and built it. Just remember that.
  10. Well, strictly speaking, he showed me how to keep it from happening. Which is exactly my point. No, I'm pretty sure your "point" was that Kerry from Kerry's showed you how to drive through a chine walk.....and that it took you into the following Summer to get it down to the point where you say "it was safe". And you think that all dealers should follow suit. THAT'S what you said. Am I wrong? It's real easy to "KEEP IT FROM HAPPENING". No on-the-water instructions needed......Ya just slow down. 😅 If you wanna go faster without chine walk, then lose a couple of batteries, lose some fuel, balance your load, reset motor height, and re-prop. Once you understand hydro-dynamics you'll agree that the only way to SAFELY run on the center pad is with twin counter rotating outboards or outdrives. And even then.....if you were to lose an engine while on pad, you're likely to flip.
  11. Chine walking is not advisable, and IMO anyone teaching people to do it in a fishing boat is irresponsible. If you're into RACING then race, and set the boat, and yourself, up for racing..... instead of fishing. A bassboat lacking an aerodynamic cover over the bow, and having rediculous weight distribution, is NEVER going to be a proper vessel for truly high speeds. But hey, go ahead and keep on being ignorant, I don't GAF 👍
  12. Adding that responsibility to the dealers is unreasonable, and would do nothing but inflate the costs. Are you going to add responsibility to hardware dealers that sell hammers and chainsaws? What about gun dealers? Car dealers? Pit bull breeders? Pharmacist's? Liquor stores?
  13. If you tell me that the oz. was only $40 then I'll agree that '22 is better than '72, '82, or '92. 😅
  14. I don't think you understand. He can get one, and he is fully capable of learning how to use it. If you don't think that it's detrimental to the sport.....just wait and see. I bet you'll feel differently in the fairly near future.
  15. Alrighty, so the other rants I can recall are...... The use of FFS in tournaments. Guys driving bassboats like formula 1 race cars. People blocking ramps by not having their boats already loaded and ready before pulling onto a ramp. Co-anglers cluttering up the boat with insane amounts of excess tackle. Big money douchebags destroying huge woodlots so they can build giant parking lots. All seem like reasonably valid points TO ME. And actually needs to be said by SOMEBODY that isn't a nobody. What is he allegedly "whining" about that turns you off ? Just curious. 🤔
  16. 70 MPH, that's what. Nobody I know has any business running 70+mph in a freakin' bassboat. It takes some considerable time behind the wheel to be able to do it SAFELY.
  17. I'm just the opposite. His fishing tips are lame AF, but his rants are spot on.
  18. So you don't think the number of tournaments is completely out of control?
  19. 8' is the perfect Bennett Spring/Crane/ect. length.
  20. There are several. But I'm trying to stay out of this thread. The mere fact that NOW I've posted in it, will invariably cause Terrierman, and his moderating cohort, to blame ME for the pissing match that is going on here. 🙄
  21. If everyone followed that advice we'd have no roads, no bridges, no cars to drive, or houses to live in. The only thing you'd be able to do is go to church and watch dandelions grow. 😂
  22. I have a feeling that pelagic fish are more in tune with solunar periods than structure/cover oriented fish. But then again.... those fish EAT pelagic fish (shad) so it only stands to reason that they'd be effected, to a degree, also. Termites are supposed to swarm in mass during full moon periods, but lightning bugs and June bugs are allegedly scarce during the full moon.......So if SOME insect species react differently then it's probably safe to assume that SOME fish species react differently too. I've personally never noticed a period of time when every fish species in a lake/river was all fired up at the same time. They almost seem to take turns. For instance: The absolute best time to catch Drum is during those times when you can't buy a single bite from a Bass or a Crappie. If you're bass or crappie fishing and you catch 2 drum......you might as well just go home, get drunk or high, and do chores.
  23. When all other conditions are stable and favorable....it seems to. But a post cold front, or rapidly falling water will shut'em down just as quickly during a full moon, as it will any other time. The best days to fish during the Spring are the days where the daily Highs are closest to the daily Lows. Doesn't matter if it's Sunny/Cloudy, Full moon/Half moon, Windy/Calm..... if you have a 24hr. period where the high is 70° and the low is 67° (for example) you'd better get out there ! Those conditions indicate steady winds, steady barometric pressure, as well as steady temps. And if, by crazy chance, the moon is within 2 days waxing/waning of a full moon.....DUDE! 🎣 Even Kamala Harris could load the boat. 🙂
  24. I'm sure, that just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they ain't there. 😉
