    Seen a special on him the other day. Still singing some but goes into gasping at times trying to catch his breath They cancelled the Willie concert here on the 16th. Sugarbritches bought tickets, supposedly they'll reschedule....and if the new date doesn't suit you they'll refund your money. We'll see.

    I don't think they get many Smallies. They seem perfectly happy sitting over a rootwad catching goggleeye. 😊 They seldom (if ever) float below Leadmine anyway.

    In all honesty? The lower Niangua. But not necessarily because of the number of 18+" Smallies. It's because of everything else that most of us love river smallmouth fishing for. Lack of party floaters, lack of jetboat traffic, awesome gravel bars spaced perfectly apart, big rocks, plenty of wood cover, clear cool water. The only deterrent is that access points are a long ways in-between (too long for most).....but that's its saving grace. 🤗 If you're strictly after Bigguns.....the Meramec and it's lower tributaries.

    Yeah I graduated from that class awhile back too. After wrestling with a 12#+ carp or buffalo I'm in no mood to stand up and immediately try to do it AGAIN. Same with gar. Once in awhile is ok.....if nothing else is biting, and I'm really bored. But I avoid them otherwise.

    I'm sure you searched (Googled) some stuff related to that area before you left home. No? I went on a kick the last few evenings watching magicians, so naturally everything that pops up is related to that....ON OTHER SITES. But not here. It's still the same old crap that is on here every day for the last 2 months. I'm so sick of seeing that dude with the hatchet on his kids boob.....that I could literally throw my phone across the room. It absolutely won't go away. And y'all want me to believe that I'm the only one that sees that? Honestly?

    I don't know, but I'm curious why Lilly from ATT (whose pic came directly from this site BTW) got deleted.....and this gets to stay? 🤷‍♂️ The rules around here are confusing as can be. It absolutely has to depend solely on who posted it, right? Do the moderators here truly hate me THAT BAD? I don't wanna hang around a place where I'm hated to that degree. Seriously.

    Rig these with a 1/8 - 3/16oz. weight and pay close attention to bites as it falls on a semi-tight line. No bite?....reel it in and pitch it 10 feet away.....rinse and repeat.
