I had to replace the windshield on my Suburban when I still had it. Caught a rock from.a dumptruck. My auto glass dude is cool as hell.....Comes to the house to do it, is very reasonable on price, and brings hotwings everytime he comes. Everytime I look out and see ice covering the windows on the vehicle, I just tell my wife "Phuck this! Call Ralph".

A 18-20 footer means that somebody is gonna be playing "Guide" all day. I guess that's cool if your main objective is showing OTHERS a good time, and forsaking your own personal enjoyment. There's so many easier ways to make money, and/or make friends.

I'll give you a tip I've learned on the Coyotes that I think makes it a better fish catcher.... Increase the blade size until it can't spin, but wobbles back and forth contacting the hook shank on both sides. That causes the whole fly to wobble like a swimbait, and glide/wobble between strips or anytime you pause the retrieve. Especially during a tight-line sink. The slightly bigger blade maintains a back & forth motion at slower retrieves better than a smaller blade can maintain a full spin. 👍 Therefore, no need for a ball bearing swivel. Any tiny swivel just big enough to go over the barb is fine.

I'll fish a trout stream in way colder weather than I'm willing to get out on a lake and fish. But yeah, were even beyond that threshold currently.

Me too. I have to psych myself up for 30 minutes just to go get the mail. I haven't peeked over the hill to verify it yet, but I'd say that the upper Gravois iced over solid last night. And now we have yet another full week of polar activity in the forecast. This sucks! 😢
