I don't think so. The 250xs doesn't receive cylinder lubrication through the fuel injectors. A bad fuel injector won't score a cylinder or cause detonation.....it will just run like crap and possibly oil foul a spark plug. So if all they did was replace the powerhead and put in fresh injectors...... She's going to blow again, and warranty is not gonna cover it. Not trying to bum you out, but you spent 4k+ and deserve to know the truth.

There's talk of cancelling the oldest kids college graduation walk, and they are doing everything from home now. Then the middle kids DECA presentation project that she's been working so hard on is being cancelled too (wonder if we'll get our 200.00 back? 😡) People are truly freaking out. I don't get it.

Naw c'mon, there had to have been a significant amount of time for someone to react. If nothing else the two boys could have paddled the boat hard enough and long enough for someone to make a 911 call and for help to arrive. I've singlehandedly paddled a 24'pontoon boat against heavy wind and boat wakes. You may not gain much ground but you can darn sure hold your position if your life is at stake.

Well, my second guess was the correct one. 20' Stratos. Wish we knew how it all went down. No surveillance at the dam, hu? I thought they all had surveillance cams running 24/7. Even the lock&dams on the Mississippi are surveilled. Not even a crew member in the dam area keeping an eye on things? I find that interesting.

Slam it! That's better than letting it ratchet into gear. If it's a Suzuki control box it should be robust enough to handle it. Odds are you only use reverse once or twice a day anyway. I sure wouldn't pour any more money into it (if it were me).

But Noooo, everybody just has to gather with the herd on a daily basis, or else they think they'll be miserable.....might (God forbid) run out of hair conditioner or something. "My goodness, how do we stop the spread of this virus?". DUH !!!! 🤔

Here on Lake O I always notice the shad dying off during the first really windy spell after ice out (if there was ice). It might be a week after ice out.....or it may be a month. Something about the wind sets it off. It's been crazy windy lately. It will be interesting to hear what the certified biologist says.

IMO a true professional would have studied the weather trends, and should know the characteristics of the body of water, enough to not put himself in that position. If that means fishing all day within sight of the launch ramp.....so be it. I'd feel confident betting that neither of the boats in the pics above had the winning sack. 😊

Riiiiight. And if there's a restriction.....then the seal needs to be removed anyway. My point is that there's no reason to go out and buy a special "low pressure grease gun" to service your jet pump. Grease guns are messy as hell, who wants to babysit more of them than they need to ? 😅

Try bumping the choke/primer during the hole shot. That will give you a clue as to whether your fuel mixture is too lean, too rich, or about right..
