  1. Ain't good for nuthin', but put a man six feet in a hoooole. Sorry, had a VanZant moment there. 😊
  2. Your good below 3'
  3. Yes. Looks good at the moment. Several of the campgrounds (Riverfront, Fort Bennett, Hidden Valley) do floats from MV down.
  4. Haven't really kept up on all the gun laws, is a minor not allowed to own a powder burner anymore? I owned 4 before I ever had a driver's license, and my oldest daughter had 2 before she graduated high school. If you sell a firearm and write up a bill of sale, how long should you keep your copy? For the rest of your life? Are you now required to do a background check on someone before selling them a firearm? Make sure they aren't on anti-depressants, have any psychologist appointments, or have never bounced a check? This is why I like airguns so much, same amount of enjoyment (more actually) without all the hoops and hassles.
  5. Old style parking brakes never failed unless you went years without using them. Just like anything else mechanical. Computer controlled stuff fails.....just cuz.
  6. I just haven't been able to come up with a picture of the fitting itself.
  7. Somebody at the Jim Beam distillery shot off a bottle rocket and blew the place sky high. Better get your Peach Beam while supplies last.
  8. This is becoming painful. Please stop.
  9. It goes to a screen fitting that keeps rain and spiders out, and vents into the atmosphere outside the boat like God intended.
  10. Edit:. Drunk post fixed. 👉🗣️
  11. You might break your foot. 😁
  12. It's an odd heritage that everyone in my family has. My grandpa started it by shooting a Paris, Mo. water company employee for running his limb lines....and then they became great friends. Then my dad beat the hell out of a kid that had done my sister wrong and the kids dad tried to gun my dad down.....they eventually became good friends. A guy jumped off a hay truck with a knife on my brother and they became best buddies. If you wanna be friends with a Sims boy....just try to kill one of us! 😂 We'll just love ya for it.
  13. There's no law that dictates how you can add fuel to a boat. Or if there is I am not aware of it.
  14. Or to find out if heaven/hell is real. I came blasting into a NoWake cove once and shut it down just inside the bouys. No sooner than my boat leveled out a dude fired a round across my bow from his deck and started yelling at me. I jumped out on his dock and ran up to his house with the full intent of wrapping that rifle around his neck, and he ran inside and locked the door. On the way back down to his dock I grabbed a rock and threw it at his window, but missed and broke a glass patio table. I knew he had my boat numbers so I stayed in the cove figuring the Sheriff would be there looking for me soon.....but the law never showed up. About 4 years after that happened I went on a service call to check out a Evinrude 90 that wouldn't start. Guess who it was? 😁 We ended up being business pals, he was always fixing up a boat of some sort. When he passed away his wife called me because he had TOD'd his boat to me, and she told me all kinds of horrible stories about him. He had apparently always hid money from her all their life together, and made it to where she didn't have a pot to piss in after he was gone. I sold the boat for 5k and gave her all but 100.00 of it. And she gave me the rusty old POS Model 94 .30-30 that he shot at me with. 😅 The tornado ate that sucker. It probably fell out of the sky into somebody's field somewhere because it was never found in the debris. Or maybe he spawned that twister just to suck up his old Winchester. RIP Ray, you old sonuvabitch! 🙂
  15. I showed them to ya! The very backend of every cove is my secret spot.
  16. Not sure which system you're describing. If you are referring to an anti-siphon valve then you can swap it out for a standard open nipple as long as the fuel tank is lower than the motor (which is pretty much all boats except for pontoons). Fuel quick connect fittings should only be used on clamp-on PORTABLE outboards. If the motor is bolted to the boat then by all means shitcan those quick connect fittings.
  17. Ya know why sheepherders wear robes? Cuz sheep can hear a zipper a mile away. 😊
  18. Creative and/or exploratory drinking is not for me. If I notice someone with otherwise decent taste buying a 2nd or 3rd bottle of something I may give it a try, otherwise I just stick with familiar labels. All brown beer gives me a headache, and all expensive bourbon makes me sleepy. Gin and Vodka give me hic-cups.
  19. I didn't read all of this, but I can bounce a 1/2oz. Red-eye Shad off of Jupiter with an old 4600C. Never once have I gotten a bite there though. Freakin' Gar Hole!
  20. Begs the question, Why? No, seriously. Just because you're an outdoorsman and they do stuff that benefits outdoorsmen? I get that..... but at what cost? Good Lord! Is it not like turning a blind eye to the kid that stole your car because he also swings by and shovels the snow off your sidewalk occasionally ? A 30k car didn't get replaced for a few 10.00 shovel jobs. "They are so much better than other states" so they say. Yeah you get a hand up and a kiss on the cheek after the brutal anal rape, instead of just left to crawl home. 🤣 So by all means let's sing praise at every opportunity.
  21. Lawyers wish that it would. They could have so much fun with that.....

    What's Cooking?

Love a single slice of deli turkey breast on a BLT. Don't remember where I had it first but it has stuck with me for a couple years now. Delicious!
  23. I bought 2 big spools of old school 5/16 and 3/8 Gates fuel hose (the GOOD STUFF) but I'm not allowed to sell it. I use it on all of my own stuff though. 😉
  24. It's good for ME actually. Business is booming. But I can't appreciate lousy engineering just because I'm making money off of it. Nor can I take pride in repairs that I know are only temporary.
