  1. I like 'em. What's the cost of those 1/2 oz. Jigs ? And do ya have 3/4oz. ? Gotta try them πŸ‘
  2. I have more hair than that mullet does. πŸ‘
  3. I'll take 100.00, shipped to your door, if you want it.
  4. Well goddammit...... Who's in charge of quality control around there ?!?!?! πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ Do I need to put in an application?
  5. And what is this cable that I see ?
  6. Yo, I like that half-trim πŸ‘ Why have I never thought of that? πŸ€” That's sexy! I wanna see the full deminsion of that tungsten jig head. The only concern I'd have with a tungsten jig head is that it wouldn't shoot/skip as well as a lower density lead head of the same weight. Which is a big deal for me where I fish.....but probably not a big deal to others throwing jigs in other places.
  7. i am selling the motor. its a 2001-ish mercury 25hp jet. electric start(I need to buy a starter for it). Is this it ? Need any other parts for it ? I'm parting this one out.
  8. With a 6'6" 3wt. and a 10mph crosswind/headwind/or tailwind I can't. I decided, on that day, that I'd never own a flyrod lighter than a 5wt. ever again.
  9. Yeah, perfectly calm.....and that's what you'll need. I had a short little 3wt. that I thought was going to be great for pond bluegill......which it was, as long as there was no wind at all. The slightest breeze took all the "fun" out of it and put me completely out of business.
  10. My grandma used to joke about "Green Onion Casserole". Long grain rice, chopped up wild green onions, meat from any animal that you ordinarily wouldn't eat (rat, blackbird, polecat, possum, whatever), with melted cheese on top. I think it was a thing done during the depression. Gypsy's were famous for it.
  11. There's a house & shed 200 yards from the edge of my property that has always had a rat problem. A buddy lived there for 15 years and was always complaining about rats in his boat, rats in his car and truck, and rats in the shed......even though he kept the place clean and there was absolutely nothing in there for them to eat (short of rat poison). Never in the actual house....but just the shed and surrounding property. I have never seen a single rat here at my place in the entire 25 years that I've been here. Some new folks moved into that place year before last, and while talking to them last Spring they mentioned having problems with rats. They also are clean living types and always keep the place nice and neat. Just makes me wonder what it is about that property that obviously appeals to rats ???? And why they've never attempted to move in on ME ? I mean there are always boats and stuff sitting here that you'd think rats would just LOVE to occupy, but they never have. Maybe I have enough black snakes and feral cats to keep them away. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  12. How are we dispatching these lip caught rodents ?
  13. Easier nowadays than it has ever been. Don't you think? And single moms have it easier than anyone else. I see that all around me. Bonafide excuses are rare.
  14. Depending on what he got suspended for..... Potentially a REALLY GOOD life lesson. Taking up that slack for him might make you feel good, but it also might keep his parents lazy longer. Probably plenty of beer in the houseπŸ™„ One of my youngest daughters school bus pals lives in a household like that. Poor kid lives on raw hotdogs, Ramen, and canned corn. We at least got her to start requesting cottage cheese, green beans, carrots, and peas instead of corn. The man of the house works construction and her mom is a RN. You'd think a registered nurse would possess some nutritional intelligence, wouldn't ya? Guess notπŸ™„
  15. You should have said.... "ok, I'll play along. Assure me! "
  16. We're not given a choice of whether to tolerate them or not. They are here, and you either slave for them or stay completely out of their space. πŸ˜…
  17. Do you realize that Women in this tri-county area can throw broken glass pitchers, whiskey bottles, and all manner of instruments of war......and still press charges on the person they threw them at ? And by "women" I don't mean to imply soft little blonde cuties😻. I'm talking about any human with an F on their birth certificate. 🦁 Any place with a 300lb. PMS gal who has a tomahawk and 6 shots of tequila in her.....is not where you wanna be !
  18. Probably illegal in 48 states now too πŸ˜… Texas and....πŸ€”
  19. Indoor Axe throwing is becoming popular around here. I won't even darken the door of those places! 😳
  20. Well maybe, but the "court" has obstacles. We switch sides when either player gets to 10 so that the chances of dying are equal.
  21. Badminton around here involves blood, bruises, and potential broken bones. 😳
  22. It's interesting that y'all interview folks before you donate to them. Around here they just pile it up in a parking lot, and people just pull in and grab it. Often in a vehicle more expensive than all of my cars & boats combined.πŸ˜…
  23. Buzzards used to completely vacate our area around the time of the first frost, but they don't anymore. You won't see them tending to roadkill much during the winter like they do during the warmer months......but they still are here and soaring among the ridge tops.
  24. For at least the next 3 months anyway.
