I put in at the west wire road access and worked my way upstream. I am still pretty new to this creek and trying to figure out best access etc. Great creek though and love it.

For some reason I do not have much luck at Capps. I need more practice

Went down this past Friday in hopes of missing the crowds. Got down too late. Every section  I tried to go already had someone on it. Everywhere I fished had already been hit by someone else that morning. Only managed one small one on a prince nymph. Beautiful day though and I wasn't at work!

Reading this report had me thinking about hitting the catch & release season which I have not done in a long time. Went down Friday in the cold and rain. Hardly anyone there. It was great! could not keep them off of the black buggar!

While it is always nice to catch fish, I have always used a guide as a learning experience. And I have always came out a little bit better than I was before.

Can't wait to get back down there. Have been holding off for cooler weather.

Nice idea....my biggest issue at Crane is I am very impatient and not as stealthy as I need to be
