  1. Hey guys the Tin boat bass club is having a tournament out of Mill the 18th 5-100. All boats welcome this year, It's been tough over the years getting all aluminum so this year were allowing glass also. $35 if you fish alone, or $70 for a team, We try to make it affordable if your alone. Message me with any questions.
  2. All the blue hairs shaking their canes in the air would be fun to watch
  3. I ordered from TW a couple weeks ago and it only took 3 days for me to get my order, i guess I got lucky
  4. Academy and Walmart are looking pretty bare too
  5. We had 12.54 last Wed. Caught a 3.87 on my very last cast. I Should be able to make the next 2. Man that is a giant spot. I never catch any good spots
  6. I definitely pull the "new" one and see how new it looks, He knew I had already messed with and took out the old one to inspect it for holes so i hope he actually replaced it
  7. no part number, he said he had one at the shop that would work
  8. and at about half a tank when the nose goes in the air to get on plane she cuts out a couple times until it levels out
  9. I had the pick up tube replaced a couple weeks ago, mine is more like a long 3ft hose, and i just dont think it is making its way down to the bottom
  10. After using my boat a lot the last couple weeks i think i have figured it out. IT only starts acting up when the gas gauge reads 1/2 tank. IF i fill it up it runs perfect until it gets down to a half. Which my gauge is wrong, so when i fill it up all the way it only read 3/4. So it pretty much has to be the pick up hose isnt sitting on the bottom of the tank, I hate having to run around with 45 gallons of gas in a 19ft boat, seems like a lot of extra weight
  11. With work ill usually be there every other Wed. What did it take to win? Last Wed. was pretty tough overall, I just had a few good ones
  12. Well, definitely cant make any money in a club tournament After gas and a couple new tires i may actually be behind for the day. I dont tourney fish to actually try to "Make" money. Just for a little skin in the game and some competition. I was actually shopping for some tires last week since these Maxxis ones were about 12 years old. Stopped at Economy tire in Ozark and they had some new ones on in 20 min.
  13. My Garmin up front reads between 9 and 11 volts all day everyday, And i just put a new battery in my boat too. Could it be because the size of the wire running the graph? My humminbird reads 12.7 off the same battery
  14. Thats true they burn pretty clean, maybe a little steam on a cold morning about like a car
  15. Im sure Fishinwrench will chime in shortly and give you better advice than me
  16. A lot of it depends on the way they took compression test, was it cold, or was it warmed up. Also gauges will read different. On my last boat i tested my compression and only about 95 on each hole with my gauge, then i rented one from Orielly and they were all up around 120. Petty sure when i had my 60 fourstroke i did the test and it was around 160
  17. 5" flutter for me
  18. I have one of those Presidents that are on sale for 39.99. IT had been great, cant beat the price.
  19. They do recommend 10 guage for the livescope GLS 10 box, i had to pull new wires up there for it. Lots of fun
  20. Definitely strap it down in rough water, We hit a cabin cruiser rogue wave the other day and as we were in the air the force deployed luckily when the bow crashed the next wave it restowed itself. That thing would have ripped right off the front if it had actually made it in the water
  21. It has this style cap on it https://www.overtons.com/perko-angled-gas-fillvent-350390.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjLPTpKjz6QIVj4bACh2piQRpEAQYASABEgLcUPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  22. Got it back fro the shop a couple weeks ago and only had the chance to go a couple times. They put a new pick up tube in the tank since thats the only thing that hasnt been replaced. Same issues, runs great until later in the day, and then doesnt want to start and periodically dies going down the lake. Have to pump the bulb then im good to go for a while. Guess ill try a new gas cap to see if its a venting issue, i figured it would be tough to fill up with gas if that was the case
  23. IT took longer to get the cop charged at Lake O for cuffing the guy that fell overboard. No one protested against that
  24. its hard to beat the good ole hound dog, The money pole never worked very good for me, if they are very deep you almost need two people to work it. Tried the Daiwa retriever and it sucks, the reel it came with is nice so i have my hound dog on it now. i lost count this year at 7 a-rigs and 6 megabasses. So it definitely doesn't owe me anything
  25. Sounds like that may be a winning recipe
