We're far enough from Springfield that we didn't see them. Which this report reminds me of the news when they were looking for that missing plane out in the Pacific. "This just in: Still no plane" Haven't heard anything more about it for quite a while. Another one for the conspiracy theory thread I guess.

Regardless of how anyone feels about our military overall, there's a justifiable sense of pride in doing well in that arena. Flying jets - especially fighter jets - is reserved for smart fit guys. Who wouldn't be proud of someone who did that. I carried a rifle, a radio and mortar parts and pieces. They wouldn't let me actually talk on the radio or aim the mortar. Draw your own conclusions about what they thought about my potential.š

Correct. If there's a bigger longer lasting more important and fascinating conspiracy theory, I can't think what it might be. I used to have business interests in Sedalia, very close to Knob Noster where the B-2's are stationed. Saw them regularly. They're something to see and you just do not hear them coming at all. Impressive aircraft for sure.

Lets' start a pool on whether dear leader comes down with it now that one of his minions who serves him food and helps him get dressed has it. I give it 60-40 yes. And then another pool if he does, he denies it. That one is too easy.

When you had service and there wasn't a fish on. Still I know what you mean. Back then, whenever there was service, if the phone rang it got answered. Usually pretty calm. Then there was this one time when I was striper fishing on Beaver with friends and Johnny Morris wanted a meeting right now about a problem at Big Cedar. I bet you've taken a call or two like that. Not today though, hopefully. -

Fried potatoes and onions. Ketchup and Siraricha. Fried bologna sandwich with stella blue, onion slices and yellow mustard on sourdough texas toast. Two flavor bombs, and so health foodie. Oh. And a Miller Lite.

I have a bloom on one of my Cherokee purple tomato plants! Will cut the wire tying cages to T posts and pull all the cages on the tomatoes Friday night - scattered frost predicted for Saturday morning here. Everything will get covered with a bucket.
