  1. I would have stayed in my house for sure. You would have too. A gate is not worth dying or going to jail over. And you know it.
  2. Crap. I was going to take them all. Next time, please PM me.
  3. The end result was how menacing? Come on, you're better than this.
  4. I've been in all those places in daylight and about midnight. Not a single problem even one time. If you're lookin for trouble you can find it easy enough. If you're not, you're not as likely to find it. And that's based on being in a lot of good and "bad" places on four continents. So. You're right, mostly.
  5. Ii don't want anybody pointing a pistol at me.
  6. I sure wouldn't stand in the front yard with a gun and yell at them.
  7. Proof positive that having a lot of money does not necessarily mean having a lot of common sense.
  8. Plus I don't give two hoots about who's mad at some dead general. I have gotten grief at the ball park during the anthem when I said something about take your hat off and place your hand over your heart. Grief and also compliance.😎
  9. I throw trout back in the water they came from.

Don't know. But what it takes to issue a 1099 is SSN or FEIN, name and mailing address. I've only been in business for 40 years or so though so what would I know. But. Google it if you don't believe little ole me. The real test of whether one is an independent contractor or an employee is a little more complicated. Your cable company might not have met those tests.

    Wrong.
  14. You guy's tomatoes are ahead of mine. They're loaded but nothing even close to ripe yet. I did put up a high and low electric fence. It's worked for me before and I expect it to again.
  15. Lots of things are scarce. Lots of manufacturing really has been shut down during the Covid. And it's not just meat packing plants.
  16. Neil Young. Homegrown.
  17. My dad was a traveling salesman for Gates Rubber Company back in the 1950's. I guess it's just in my blood.
  18. What I never got was why tractors had to have steel wheels but rubber belts and hoses on the same machine were OK. Still keeps me up at night sometimes. Over by Mountain Grove there's a sect of what the locals call "Tractor Amish". No cars or trucks, but tractors pulling trailers full of women and kids. Our local farmer market has a couple of groups of them with as beautiful of women as I've seen. Makes me think about joining up.
  19. You don't get to pick a star to be. Just trying to live the life you have lived as a black man. Think about it. Just try it.
  20. Well? Anybody?
  21. Fond indeed of my Mad River Legend 15. Floats in less water than the Pescador and has a lot more room.
  22. Did you spit on the hook?
  23. 😎
  24. Who here wishes they were black so their life would have been better? I'm honest enough to say no thank you.
  25. Correct. Clyde was a great salesman and people were impressed when they could see them in that hole at the park by Bull Creek.
