    Pieriogi and a Brat require beer and plenty of it. Ales will fill you up way too fast! No need to suffer from bloating or to deprive the palate!

    We're having tomato basil soup and grilled cheese sandwiches made on Oroweat Health Nut bread tonight. That is the best bread I have ever found in the bread aisle - makes outstanding grilled sandwich.

    Pilsner Urquell. Or any other good Pilsner that you can find. I recently had Goose Island Four Star Pils and it was very good. The guys that like more hops in their beer would prefer it over Pilsner Urquell.
  11. My cousin was chairperson of VCCR for several years. We've been to a lot of the fundraisers and always have a great time.

    No noodle lasagna. Made in the usual way layered with seasoned ground beef, ricotta with shredded Italian cheese mixture and a couple of eggs, prego chucky garden style sauce. But with a layer of sliced zucchini on the bottom, a sliced portabella for the middle layer where noodles would go and third layer zucchini again.

  20. Maybe I should set up the deck of the Shawnee with some Astroturf so he can fish and hit golf balls at the same time.

    Marty, I've had duck ham before and it was incredible. Yours looks to be at least the equal, if not the master. Great job sir.
