  1. Pretty much the same as shooting one off the porch, but with a shorter trip home.🤪
  2. No, he just wants to go for a ride and shoot a deer out the truck window.
  3. He wants to GO deer hunting, not kill one off the porch. There really is a difference.
  4. That's what I have too. Good gear.
  5. The black buzzards are invasive. They're aggressive and out compete and kill their competition.
  6. Is that snow ice cream? Now that takes a feller back.
  7. He's made and shot everything there is to shoot with a bow. Bet you fifty cents, cash on the barrelhead.
  8. Mine is down by the road. Where if it explodes it's really not my problem except for that part about no electricity.
  9. I'm like the early you.
  10. The correct answer which I'm betting Billethead will agree with is: "It depends." Do you allow squirrels, birds and the like to frequent the area? Do you keep wasps and hornets away? These things matter.
  11. Yes. Can you put this post in 25 words or less please.
  12. ^^ are you sure you want to post that? Asking for a friend.
  13. This is going to sound weird but I kind of miss those massive Turkey Buzzard rookeries, foul though they may have been. Those black ones are just way too good and way too mean to ever co-exist with Turkey Buzzards. Love Herons, both the blue and green ones. They seem just way cool to me.
  14. You have that river so dialed in. Nice fishing trips.
  15. If it wasn't for that crack pipe those everywhere else places wouldn't ever get anything done. I know it's true because you told us so.🎯
  16. Heck I had to keep track of every firearm, mortar, machine gun, bayonet, kabar, piece of night vision equipment and every piece of ammunition for a Company of Marines (a few of them with sticky fingers) that only wanted to get released from the Company area so they could go get drunk. And I never lost a thing. But, I was motivated to pay attention because I wanted to go to the NCO club too. It seems to me less a matter of how to take care of this stuff and more a matter of everyone involved being properly motivated.
  17. Ducks seemed to want to work better when it was snowing too. Rain, not so much.
  18. The same flooding problems affect everything. We're working on it but it's expensive and not popular with most of the voting public.
  19. Wow! Nice ones.
  20. Blue point is a fine oyster if you ask me. Oyster farming is becoming a deal too. But as far as I know, they're not artificially fed, just provided optimal substrate they can be harvested from when ready. I will not knowingly eat tilapia. If a menu doesn't specify what fish I'm getting, I ask.
  21. We have three small dogs that do not like to wade snow to potty. And I have a wife who doesn't like to wade snow for anything. So this. Sidewalks cleared and a path to the shop where the truck and jeep are. And to the chicken pen and a cleared area for them to roam in too. Don't need or use the snowblower very often but it is sure nice when I do. The chicken pen has chain link fence panels on top. The snow completely bridged the openings and there is/was no snow in the pen, all still up on the fence panels.
  22. Four or five inches here in Ozark. Enough to get out the snowblower later.
  23. For shell fish - I want somebody else to do all the work. These are not in order of preference - just how I typed it out. They are all top shelf in my book. So: Boiled, peeled and iced fresh shrimp with my cocktail sauce. Fresh raw oysters opened in front of me. Fried oysters done the right way. Shrimp cocktail at a good Mexican restaurant. Crawfish etoufee. Again, done right. Etoufee is especially sensitive to needing a cook who knows what's what in the kitchen. Really meaty Maryland crab cakes. Lobster Roll done the right way. Lobster bisque with lobster bits. Crab, shrimp and scallop enchiladas. Crab dip - the kind served warm with spiced cream cheese. So long as there are plenty of Frito's Scoops.
