    Going to be a classic summer BBQ supper this evening. Chicken hindquarters, baked beans, cucumber and onion salad and sliced tomatoes. Garden is producing well now!

    Carpet has no place in any fishing boat that I will ever own. Like the look of that seadeck. Spray in bedliner works great. So does just regular old textured porch paint. Always go with a light color!

    The Darlins were the best. 40 acres of good strong boulders. They were The Dillards from right down here. Great bluegrass band for certain.

    Yellow squash running out of my ears now. Picked first Cherokee purple yesterday, others are getting close including the big beef. Cherry tomatoes are just crazy. Had a zucchini boat for supper two days ago - a real favorite. And cucumbers are coming on strong. Things are late, but finally coming on strong.

    Thanks. I hope I like it. My current setup works very well. But. Better is always better. Sure worth a whirl for $750. It does look to be a good motor - very clean except where it shouldn't be.

    Got it all home and safely unloaded and on the stand. Thanks for everything. 😎 Let me know what you think of the pickles. BTW, title says it is a 1973 model. Looking forward to getting it mounted and a try out. Transom adapter looks like it will fit with little to no adjustment!

    One or maybe two blackberry pies are worth it. I do make a good one. No pics, sadly. BTW, all fruit pies should be lattice crust. Dutch apple full crust be danged.

    Canning some Amish sweet dill pickles this afternoon. About half the cucumbers from out back, the other half from the market. Canned NOTHING last year. Really looking forward to getting back on that program.
