  1. Tim is a class act. Back in early 90’s I had fished with him and I can say the best guide I fished with!!!
  2. There is some good fishing at night. From 7 or 8 pm to about 2 am! The bass will follow the shad so when you find the shad you should be catching. I have been out at night for the last 4 or 5 weeks now. And I am doing pretty good not great but some nice fish and you Will be out of the heat and sun and alot less crazy boaters! I have been doing well on points with gravel and some chunk rock have been better than just gravel. Jigs and T rigs and big worms have been the ticket. Give the night thing a chance you will like it at this time of year. Oh and for some reason that is out of my pay grade I can’t get a top water bite at night going!
  3. Lets just talk fishing!
  4. Is it that quiet? And how about top speed? They claim it is the fastest tm on the market!
  5. Fitting! Lol
  6. But it is not only boat traffic that is the problem! On a normal June it would be fine but with all the high water and lack of boat ramps , that is a bigger problem and not counting all the floating junk. I would think to be safe it would be better to cancel and do it in the fall. The safety of all the anglers is more important than trying to squeeze this tournament in! Just my 2 cents! I have fished it every year , but not in June and maybe in the fall in better conditions!
  7. Stillwater is real nice and I am sure they have opening ‘s! Stillwater resort on Indian point.
  8. Went from Cow To just past point 5. Started out about 8 pm to midnight. Fished main lake points with a few fish caught. Most of our fish came on the inside of the points. If you would get back 1/3 or more off of the point no bites, and this was true for every point that we fished. We caught 18 between the two of us. And 12 keepers with 5 pushing 4 pounds or a better. Mostly all SM. Man they get mean! All caught on the Tokyo rig with a Rage Craw or a Zoom Super Hog. Green pumpkin or green pumpkin purple.they where12 to 25 feet. Most of the better fish where in 18 to 25! Not a great night but I am not complaining!
  9. That why I am going out tonight!
  10. All the crazy’s are here! I would not be caught on this lake today! So the night fishing begins!
  11. I don’t mind giving out this info, that is what this site is about , to help others when we can! I was fishing just one bullet weight nose down and I was fishing a 3/16 lead weight. Most of the time I will fish two tungsten weights. But I fish lead too at times. I was fishing 5 to 15 feet. With one lead weight , when you get hung up the weight can slide up the wire and work free! Pretty cool rig for sure!
  12. Yes it moves off the bottom a few inches vs. a Texas rig witch was crawling on the bottom. They could see the bait so much better! That day it made the difference. I was very surprised how snag free it was, when I did get hung up it came off very easy. And the baits that you can fish on the Tokyo rig is endless! The bite that day was very lite , just a little heavy feeling. I can see this rig really shines in the summer when they get a bit deeper. And how easy and fast to change weights!
  13. I have the Craw Tube and the Craw worms for sale. Call or text 414 731 7281 for colors and size- 2:50 a bag plus $6:50 shipping. If local we can meet somewhere!
  14. Went out Thursday about 8 am and fished until 2 pm. Started slow with about 5 fish in 3 hours on a shaky head fishing chunk rock coves. Decided to move to gravel banks , and I was about to throw a jig but I picked up my Tokyo rig with a Rage Craw and it was on, from 11:30 to 2 pm ( had to go by 2 for a appointment by 3 ) .I caught 24 on that Tokyo rig with 11 keepers with 4 pushing 5 lbs. SM,KY,LM. It was my buddy’s turn to take his boat and I forgot to bring extra Tokyo rigs, so I had that one. He fished the Rage on a Texas rig and had a few bites. They could see the bait so much better on that Tokyo rig. It is also pretty snag free fishing it like a hard head. The bass that I caught had spawned out and the tails where healing. I hated to leave them biting. It was a very lite bite so you had to really pay attention. Can’t wait to get back out again, if it ever stops raining!!
  15. Does anyone know if UU is open to launch?
  16. I ordered some and the Champ Craw looks awesome! Has anyone fished them?
  17. Thanks for the info. Would it be better to launch there or K Dock?
  18. Thanks. Is that area clear water or stained ?
  19. I have never fished Bull Shoals and was wondering if we can put in there or is it closed? Any info would be great?
  20. Lol I know how ya feel. If I did not or be able to fish I would be in a padded cell by now
  21. I could see the map before, but now it says. The browser is down???????
  22. Oh come on- you have been cooped up too long!🤪
  23. I hear ya! I had made up my mind that the Trick Step is the one I want. My Dad always told us to buy the best and in the long run you will spend less! Makes sense! But that thinking drives my wife nuts!😫
  24. Thanks for that info Vernon. I did read some online reviews alot wrote that they had bought the Easy step and replaced them with the Trick Step. But now with this stupid virus I have to wait to get some cash flow again.
