Thanks guys. we're really proud of him. he just said the weather turned crappy and the snow is now mostly ice. hope nobody gets hurt. last month in Norway the snow was mostly ice, he crashed and ended up with a concussion. hopefully he doesn't have a repeat. The way I read it was if you run full power for EXTENDED times the minnkota wont handle lithium voltage. I just try to keep it simple since I'm pretty simple. I just looked for Batteries with the Ah rating stated. No need to convert. Most batteries i saw with just an rc rating were dual purpose starting and deep cycle. I didn't need that.
