  1. thanks for that wrench.
  2. Wrench, if you would post that article that shows the difference in the tongue patch that you have if you would, thanks
  3. I have not received any thing either, sure would hate to see Table Rock end up like LOZ
  4. Try taking a popper & tie a 6' leader or so to back treble hook and put a small 1/16th hair jig on.
  5. Nice report for sure, wish I was down there.
  6. Just one??
  7. I guess I should have said windy banks wrench, but you are right on with that, thanks for the update!
  8. I was originally planning on coming down Sunday & Monday but have changed my mind again do to the warm weather. But if I was down I think I would still concentrate on windy points and shallow pockets with spinners & topwater poppers and probably jerkbaits to try to pick up some quality whites & or hybrids. You never know what's going to happen till you get out there. A friend of mine and his wife have been catching some nice crappie off there dock in the shallows also. That's all I got for you, maybe someone else can help you out. Looks like the following week for us. Good luck
  9. A buddy of mine was down a week or so ago and was surprised that they caught as many as they did under the conditions they did, high skies, but they had wind. He told me they found them on the main lake and not in the creek arms. That doesn't mean they aren't there though. I am wanting to get down, been waiting for the temps to go down a bit more, and would be nice to see some cloud cover, but its looking like we will be coming down for Sunday and Monday next week. Took care of the deer stand yesterday, tired of waiting, get out there and hunt em down.
  10. . I wish your wife the best in her recovery, I'm sure its not been easy but sounds like you all are heading in the right direction. As far as fishing I haven't been down in a spell either, I wish this weather pattern would change a bit, not crazy about the bluebird days. Wanting to get up to LOZ and get into some whites, water needs to cool down some more and be nice to get some wind and cloud cover. Good luck if you get out
  11. Those are some nice fish, thanks for the pictures.
  12. looks like you had a good day on the water to me. Thanks for the report
  13. Bring them up to The White. All the ones I caught in the spring still have lock jaw.
  14. Ordered some Trokar spinnerbaits & did not realize the skirts were not tied on with wire like the others. Wondering if any of you guys have had any comments on the durability of these since there not wire tied.
  15. Right up my alley, Love that night fishing, thanks for sharing.
  16. Good day of fishing Pepe, glad to see you got em.
  17. I'm up the same ally as you being 4 hours away, makes it all the more interesting at times cause you never know what is going to happen
  18. You have a sharp eye Champ
  19. Being 4 hours away does make it tough, just have to set a game plan and do the best we can. Some days we hit em & some we don't, probably hard to be more consistent in the fall than spring, but when we do find them I think it is very rewarding. Good luck to you Vernon and catch a trophy!!
  20. I believe that is a fact Mr. Babler. They be in trouble.
  21. Way to get after them, some nice fish you have there. The wind is your friend it appears
  22. Well I guess they will not bite all the time but I would imagine once that water gets cooler, thinking in the 60s, the bite should pick up for those of us that are struggling a bit. Not sure when I am going to get down, wanting to get to LOZ first and get some whites for the freezer. As for now I got a new transom in the boat & taking it Monday to have motor checked out good before I go anywhere. One issue I have now is a alarm going off when key is turned on, thinking something to do with oil pump or other. Good luck to you all!!
  23. Well, better luck next time.
  24. Congratulations James, I'm sure it gives a bit of piece of mind for you & your family.
  25. Sounds like you had a good float, I have a buddy lives outside of Alton, used to get down that way and fish often, we used to fish Frederic Creek down off of CC & catch some awesome smallmouth. Been years back before they started taking gravel out
