Thanks for your report rps. Enjoy your fishing since summer break is in for you. Keep the reports coming. Good Fishing.

Great report, sounds like the fishing was good, and congrats to your kids on the fish they caught. Ned Rig has been a very solid contributor for me over the last two weekends (including many keeper jaws, and several LM over 4 lbs.) Top water bite has been outstanding, and still getting plenty of suspended fish on the grub. Are you fishing the K city area? Thanks.

Phil, Go Pro will help the video, but look forward to following your reports. How often are you going to post your video's? Thanks for all the information you contribute. Good Fishing.

Incredible Morning On The Rock Dam Area Fishing Report Wro
fishingaddiction replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
Bill, It's great that the Rock gave you and your clients such a grand day. Any of us that get a few of those kind of mornings are blessed. Thanks for the super report for all of us working stiffs that had to go to the office this morning. Ab, Your right about Hunter, he will get to thinking that fishing is so easy, and that this morning is the way it should be all the time. He will have to learn about patience and having to work harder to catch fish. -
Great report Topwater, and congrats on a great fish!

The whites stayed up longer for you than me, we caught several out of a school that stayed up about 10 minutes. We were around the mouth of Mill creek in the K city area. 4" grubs were what we threw at them, and they took them with zest. Sunday was a good day, but the best time for us was late in the afternoon from 5:00 to 8:00. We caught around 30 mostly small jaws, but also some nice K's and LM. Our best fish were a 3 lb smallie, and a 4 lb LM. Most were caught on the Ned Rig, but the grub helped some too. I will post some pic's later. You guys had a time with the whites, I am sure you had enough with the number you caught in the hour! Congrats...........and thanks for the report. Good fishing.

Quill, were you getting the TW bites in shallow water or deep? I would have put the eye under the knife for sure. Thanks for posting.

Those are some nice blue gill, but that red ear is huge. Thanks for posting Phil. Bill, Those red ear are big enough to take on a jitterbug. I believe you.

Anyone Seen Any Whites Busting Topwater In The James Yet
fishingaddiction replied to Josh Holt's topic in Table Rock Lake
Good report Bill. I can 't wait to get out this weekend and get after them! Hopefully the water temp is too cold for skiing/tubing, but I guess we just have to put up with it. -
Table Rock She Gives Some And Takes Alot!
fishingaddiction replied to johnboy2bfishin's topic in Table Rock Lake
Any idea why so tough, sun and no wind? What part of the lake were you fishing? Sorry to have so many questions, but I haven't been fishing since the week before last. Plan to fish a lot over the Memorial Day weekend? Thanks for the report. -

Kings River 5/10 And Baxter 5/11
fishingaddiction replied to Sprint21fter's topic in Table Rock Lake
Thanks, It sounds like I need to let the swimbait get deeper. -
Jerry.....Sounds like a nice boat/motor combo. I am sure it will perform and ride good due to the length. I have enjoyed mine so far, and it has held up good. They are just easier to tow, the fuel economy is outstanding, and you don't have to worry so much about going up into the trees and bushes. Hope you enjoy it, and catch a lot of fish out of it. dtrs.......Good info and visual with the pic of TR finesse baits. All of the other baits just look like fish catchers compared to the Ned Rig. I think it is due to the fact that most of us are creatures of habit when it comes to what baits we use. Just goes to show you that not all baits are about looks and appearance.

Good report......you gotta love the topwater bite, which should just keep getting better.

Good report 9 lb. and good production for a few hours fishing. I too have improved my fishing on TRL, and a lot quicker learning curve due to the information provided by the members on this forum who don't mind sharing. Thanks to all that contribute!

Does Lakemaster Make A Chip For Table Rock?
fishingaddiction replied to eyedabassman's topic in Table Rock Lake
The only issue I have with the Lakemaster chip is I don't fish any of the other lakes the Great Plains has on it. I would prefer this chip if it included some other lakes like Bull Shoals, Beaver or other Arkansas lakes closer to home. I would buy it, if the price was lower for just TRL. I do agree the color depth range is a nice feature that might be worth the price. -
Kings River 5/10 And Baxter 5/11
fishingaddiction replied to Sprint21fter's topic in Table Rock Lake
Nice report Sprint, you and your Dad had a good night. I have caught some fish on a 5" swimming fluke, rigged texas style with a weighted swimbait hook , but I can't get any consistent action on them. What swimbait/color are you having success with? Are you fishing it deep? Thanks and Good Fishing. -
TRL, thanks for your post about the pond scum perch, and the other color you use in the Kut Tail worm. I'll have to add those to my worm supply. Congrats on sacking them up the other day on the shaky head.

That is hard to believe that they have to produce that many to bring back a dis continued color...........amazing!

I do fish out of a 2010 Lowe 18' roughneck semi v hull. It's not much for creature comfort, but it has some storage, and is deep enough to handle the rough water. I have hummingbird fish finders front and console with gps. I don't try and run all over the lake, which forces me to slow down, and try to really work a good area. I fish the Ned on a light action carrot stick spinning rod at 6'6" on 6 lb. fluoro. I think the fluorocarbon makes a huge difference in feel, and the depth you can get the rig down to. It is also necessary to be able to make long cast at times since I try and keep the boat at 20 to 30 fow depending on the contour of the bank. Dave, you are correct about taking care of the fish, because they are taking the Rig very deep. I had quite a few fish that I had to cut the hook off of the jig head in order for the fish to have a chance to live. So everyone please take care of these fish as we want them to live, lay eggs, and have a good spawn. I worked the Rig with a swimming, gliding motion very close to the bottom, and most were hooked up on the fall when you take the slack up. The loctite gel really works to secure the zinker z to the jig head, and it helps to trim the cut portion of trailer that goes up to the head. Try it you'll like it. Good Luck!

Does Lakemaster Make A Chip For Table Rock?
fishingaddiction replied to eyedabassman's topic in Table Rock Lake
I noticed the color range thing, that sounds like something that would be handy if you were keyed in on a certain depth range. It would much easier to stay on the contour that way. Thanks for the info. -
Went out this past Sat. and Sun. May 11 & 12 to fish the Ned Rig. Fished from Mill Creek to point 7 in the K city area. Caught several top water fish early on a spook jr. Then, went to work with the Rig. Using a PJ's 1/8th oz mushroom head jig and the zinker z in PBJ. Fished spawning pockets, and gravel/chunk banks/points leading to spawning coves. Had to fish areas where the moss was not as bad, as I cleaned that stuff of the bait on almost every cast, except those cast that the fish found the rig first. Caught mostly female K's and smallies in 6' ft down to 15'. Ended the day Saturday with 25, with about 10 keepers. Fished the Rig very slowly, and with slight up and down motion. I know now why Dave enjoys fishing this thing so much, It is a blast! Thanks Dave for posting so much info about this technique. Sunday was a slower bite for me, but caught 8, with mostly keepers with 6 smallies and 2 K's. I caught this 18" beauty that I estimated to be about 3.5 lbs. She was on a long point on a drop from 13' to 25', and yes the Ned did the deed. Lite spinning rod with 6 lb. floro........What a fight. There was quite a group of fish on this point, and I could see them roaming around in water at about 15' down. I had to go have lunch with my wife as it was Mothers Day, so I left them and went home. (He makes that sound like a bad thing! - signed the wife, mother of his two children. aka The Awesome One of the Two of Us! I had to help him post the pictures after all.) If you haven't tried the Ned Rig you need to, it is truly The Little Bait that Can. Good Luck

Good report TRL! Glad you and wife captured a ton of fish. I'll have to check out the worm colors you mentioned for the shaky. I too had some good fishing yesterday and today in the K city area. By the post so far from the weekend TR is on FIRE. Good Luck and Good Fishing
