  1. Lock was 23/38 for 373 yds 3 TDs and no picks. Tough game, Missouri outgained them 637 to 502 and had 1 turnover to their 2. Biggest thing is they got the Bryant kid from Clemson.
  2. I notice the Tigers are playing in a Bowl game but I don't see any Jayhawks or Razorbacks participating. Interesting
  3. That is a great technique to use with the balloon. Reminds me of the movie Jaws when Quint shot the barrels in the shark.
  4. Bass tournaments are a very small part of the overall economic impact of these fish. I simply threw the MLF format in there to put the idea of live wells and weigh ins to rest. The poachers will keep the population in check.
  5. Bass being big business isn't necessarily a problem. There are a lot of resources in the world that are big business, coal, electricity, water, air, etc. I know a Bass isn't anywhere near that level of importance but you get the idea. If you want these things and lord knows the demand is there, you have to protect them.
  6. How about there is no "keeper" size. Throw them ALL back. If you want to have a tournament do it the MLF format way. If you need to eat a fish go to the store or learn how to catch another species. There are other fish in these lakes besides Bass and they are fun to catch too! These green fish have become such a big business $$ they need to be protected.
  7. What were you throwing and how deep were they?
  8. Where were you when you hit it? Anyone been up the James, are there a lot of floaters?
  9. Great report just the kind of info I needed. I'll be staying in Aunt's next week, hopefully the floaters and debris clear out.
  10. 4 keeps a little over 9 lbs, baby brush hog or a wacky rigged senko. 19 lbs won, fish were everywhere from the people I talked to. Some up behind the docks which is always the case and some out on points in a little deeper water.
  11. The dam Gravois area, should I say down that way I guess?
  12. Forgot to add my buddy and his dad fished today and the old guy in the back of the boat wore them out on a senko he said. Water color is a lot better up that way
  13. I'll be down tomorrow fishing dam area, Gravois. I've got three rods with a spinnerbait square bill and a jig tied on. If they don't bite that I'm not gonna do well, but I'm stubborn.
  14. Brandon are you related to Colin?
  15. Just use common sense. You can't go flying around wide open. Slow and easy and even idle speed at times. If you can get to the bank I would try that first with a spinnerbait I would think. Who knows though, until it somewhat stabilizes it's anyone's guess.
  16. No reason to cry about it anymore. It's a multi billion dollar business, ask Johnny. Lots of fisherman and women out there. Pour a cup of coffee or pop a tab and sling it. Just fish
  17. Has anyone tried a BPS speed shad, I know they are cheaper.
  18. which lake were you fishing
  19. I agree with you Wrench but the almighty dollar won't allow it. I wonder what the weights would of looked like at Table Rock if the a rig was allowed. It took 44 lbs over 3 days to win the BASS OPEN
  20. Be interesting to hear your perspective from the back of the boat. Good luck dude I hope you pull it out.
  21. I had 47lbs as the winning weight and my winner was Casey Scanlon who finished 25th I believe. It's pretty cool to see Pete Wenners and the Jedi Clunn make the cut. I looked closely at the MM pics and he definitely was throwing a swimbait in a couple of them. The guy is a machine on this pond.
  22. MM weighed 13-8 I believe.
  23. Surprised this hasn't hasn't started already. I'll say 47 lbs wins it and I'll go with Casey Scanlon for the win followed by another 2nd for Mr. Pete Wenners
  24. If a person doesn't believe in global warming now they never will. 65 degrees is insane!
  25. How much do you guys think KVD has in the bank? I'm having an argument with a buddy.
