  1. Now you've completely lost me. Where is the emoji for model airplane glue sniffing?
  2. Hard to follow your scattered arguments, but what I gather you are saying: forced education, kids getting participation ribbons, not allowing grade-schoolers to fight, over-population, and socialism -- These are the reasons we are having these school shootings? Did I read that right?
  3. Respectfully disagree. Switzerland is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and small in population. You're comparing apples to oranges. When it is easier to buy an AR-15 and all the ammunition you want . . . . than it is to register your car, we have a problem. There is a reason you cannot purchase rocket launchers. Is this a violation of your 2nd amendment rights? Bump-stocks should have been outlawed immediately after Vegas, but our congress is too lazy, and our outrage too weak, the NRA too strong. Not suggesting banning guns, but we have to tighten our gun laws and come up with some common sense application of these laws. A 19 year old with all the warning signs this kid had --- shouldn't be allowed to buy a squirt gun. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this one was preventable. Carry on with your thoughts and prayers and no attempt at working on a solution. Thats working well.
  4. There is a solution. Won't be easy. Won't be liked. But we need to start somewhere. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/07/world/americas/mass-shootings-us-international.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur
  5. OMG, is that what is going on here? Scrunching down so as not to give away the location?? You guys kill me.
  6. Arrived at Cardiac yesterday morning around 8. Temp was 24F and parking lot full. Suicide parking lot just as bad. Said small prayer and slid down the hill, fished for 3 hours. Landed 2 fish. 1 brown and 1 bow. Better than my last trip there which was probably 7 years ago.
  7. You guys have misidentified the fish as a hybrid. Thats a drum. Freak fish, either way. Good on you.
  8. I'm cooking for 20. Spatchcocking a big old bird. Might drive over to Ness manor if it doesn't work out. Happy t-giving
  9. I'm ready to join ya too! I'm only 5 minutes from Castlewood boat ramp.
  10. I see that you have the bottle of whiskey listed twice. Perhaps this was the greatest loss, no?
  11. Loved watching the video. Funniest part was the call to Duane Doty -- get your camera and get on up here . . . (reply) . . . . gimme 5 minutes, I'm changing a shower head in unit 27. LOL
  12. I rented a boat from Fellows Lake Marina a couple months ago. The folks were nice enough, but the boat was terrible for the $75. Trolling motor foot pedal was not working. Told them about it upon returning and no discount.
  13. Very impressive how quickly they got those up. I floated under the Hammond bridge just 2 weeks before it was taken out by the flood. Still in awe how that big of structure could be taken out. I wonder how much stronger, or what improvements they made to these bridges --- just in case that uh 1,000 year flood, uh, happens again like . . . next year.
  14. Very sorry to hear this.
  15. Anyone ever try the magic cones on the rear hook of an articulated fly? Gives it a nice swimming motion that I think would be deadly on Taney at night in the shallows.
  16. The other gripe I have about giggers is cleaning their fish at the boat ramps leaving a stinking mess, fowling the water and scales everywhere. I was at 2 different boat ramps on Sunday on the Big River and both were stinking messes. Lazy and inconsiderate.
  17. You're the Saint Anthony of the Current River. Nice job!
  18. Use needle nose or regular pliers and grip the treble hook shank, rather than gripping the fish's jaw with boga.
  19. Nice update. Couple comments: 1) be a man and get rid of the boga grip/fish scale gizmo 2) buzz bait fish usually strike so hard they don't miss
  20. Nice report. Would love to see a picture of your cricket pattern. Would like to add crickets to the mix of my usual hoppers and stimulators.
  21. B-2 buzzbait by Accent. Creeks, rivers, time of day, makes no difference. Put a soft plastic curly tail worm on the hook. Much prefer it over WTD lures or other topwaters that use treble hooks. Unless you like dealing with snags, cleaning moss off hook, carrying pliers to do surgery . . . I avoid treble hooks.
  22. Yes, you are the only one. Can't believe what I am reading. Perhaps OA should contract with an independent and well respected accounting firm to verify all fishing reports for accurate counts, measurements, and weights. Whitesnoop, have you consulted with a physician about your ED?
  23. At 12 feet that thing is awfully stubby. Given the dude's attitude in the post . . . . I couldn't resist. So I just texted him a $50 offer for it saying I would like to use it as a flower planter to put out front of my Aunt Ginny's B&B. Will see what he comes back with.
  24. Ridiculous what people are asking for on some of those boats.
