Bennett has been pretty crappy fora few years. They dont maintain it as well as it should be. I catch fish there but nothing like roaring. Still it's like Ham said I carry to be choosy so as not to get skin led or have an unpleasant experience. I have had days on crane where I only landed on fish and they were some of the best days I've had there. Hookedbup with a leviathin or saw a totally neat hatch in progress.
Found twenty more chants yesterday hoping we get some rain they were looking kind of dry. Also do the trumpets grow in same places or is there a specific way To target them? I'm looking to be a mycologist after all the mushrooms I have found this year lol
One thing I'll say is at least they are encouraging people to keep fish within regulations. More aimed at management. If they trick a few people who already keep them with this, then it is a positive.
Just giving you a hard time sir. It seemed as though you were implying that we shouldn't fish because it's expensive to keep them but it's equally as expensive to release. I keep none myself because I don't eat trout. But I still enjoy catching them.
Thanks. My dad took me from the time I could walk . He used to wade with me clipped to a stringer around his waste so I wouldn't float away. I need to take him more often.
I've got a ten year old daiwa not sure model but it has out lasted three rods and two other reels. I grease it once a year and I drop it once a trip. I also have a bass pro micro spin that's been great. Its about 7 years old and still good. I'd stay away from Shakespeare though. I have issues with the line guide wearing a fine track. If you hook a big fish it breaks the line. It's happened several time a since I am cheap and go to Wal-Mart to much.
It seems as though timing it right has been the trick this year. I've been rained out several times. I agree that it'll be beneficial to fish populations though. There's always a need there. Fish on I say
Took another trip to farm pond and man the bass were hot on the foam frog. Also, to my surprise, I caught several blue gill big enough to eat the 3in foam frog. I'm talking bulls. Never would of imagined a blue gill eating that big thing.I need to figure out how to post pics with my phone.
