Two Minnesota hunters applied and were drawn for a hunt in Iowa. It's was cold and snowy as they set up and waited for a buck to show. After sitting for some time a large 10 pt buck emerged and one of the hunters dropped it. As they were dragging the deer towards the truck they were stopped by a warden. The warden checked their permits and found that everything was in order. He said to the hunters "if you guys pull the deer by the front legs you won't be dragging against the fur. That way it will drag much easier." The hunters thanked the officer and went on their way. After about an hour the one hunter mentioned that the drag was much easier now. The other said "Yeah but we keep going farther from the truck!?!" 🤣🤣

Congrats on your bantam(s)! I still have to catch one. Made two trips to Mingo in 2019 and only saw some possible small ones and one adult that was dying with a fungal infection that looked like a hand print 🙄.

Nice respotted sunnies 😁 Glad you found my info useful and caught that first one. Your struggle question happens to me all the time. For example the first time I was fishing one of the large ponds in Mingo it took me 40 to 45 mins to hook and land my first ever starhead topminnow even with a tanago hook 🙄. Most of that time was figuring out that they were different and then not spooking them and then get them to bite. Next trip was easy peasy as our buddy @Ham would say. No problem catching as many as I would want. How many did he catch yesterday?

The teachers asked Megan to say her sentence. "I went to the zoo with my dad and the animals were fascinatimg." Sorry Megan but the word was fascinate. Barbara and little Johnny both raised their hands and the teacher asked Barbara to say her sentence. "I watched a show about computers and I was fascinated." Barbara I wanted a sentence with the word fascinate. Little Johnny raised his hand again. The teacher has had issues with Johnny having inappropriate responses. She felt this time Johnny couldn't have a bad answer. Ok Johnny let's hear your sentence. Johnny said "My aunt has a shirt with ten buttons but her boobs are so big that she can only fascinate!"

Lots of guys fish offshore in kayaks. I see a lot of flags behind the guys in the youtube videos. Maybe not as much boat traffic offshore as the main lakes in MO.
