We can't hunt on most Sundays. I've been told that the animals need some down time and not be pressured everyday. Not sure what those animals are doing with the other 8 months when they aren't being hunted 🤔. Really think that the law was put in place to get dad to go to church with the family.
Probably to cater to the Springfield, KC, Jeff city, and STL crowds. But they no longer need to fish during C&R since all the lunkers are being dumped into the urban lakes 😅!

We have these guys near our house. Pretty neat to see one. Also have melanic gray squirrels that are solid black. Saw one this morning.
That's all from me. I did see story today about a gray squirrel in the UK terrorizing the folks over there. Can't open the Instagram post to confirm what I assume was the same story.
You can already use 0.410 slugs to hunt deer. I wonder if the pressure to use handguns even smaller caliber is more from a recovery standpoint if you come upon your wounded deer.
We got ours to really cover short outages (< week) due to storms, etc. We weren't prepping for a power grid shut down. we do have smaller solar chargers for phones and some small applications.
Congrats! Loved fishing that section in the past. Used to always be a good fish or two in front of the cabin below the confluence. Either a brown or a smallie.
